12/12/17 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Tuesday, December 12th
  • Congratulations to the Euclid High School Choirs and Orchestra on an amazing evening of music last Thursday! You made your teachers proud and certainly helped us to feel the spirit of the season. Your hard work and dedication to our music department paid off. BRAVO!
  • Congratulations to the 8th grade swim team who beat Andrews-Osborne yesterday 119 to 68. Top scorers for the boys were Tobias Moore who took 3 first place finishes for 14 points--2 points shy of a perfect score. Jaiden Flowers scored 9 and Cameron Holton scored 8. Arria Ray was the girls top scorer with 8 points. The team has an away meet tonight against Hathaway-Brown. Congratulations swimmers and good luck tonight.
  • The next contest of the Ohio Math League will be today at 2:30 in room 342. See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • Attention 8th Graders: Our annual Outsiders Soc/Greaser Day is scheduled for Thursday, December 14th. Dress in your best Soc or Greaser gear for a chance to win Outsiders themed prizes. Staff members are also invited to participate. We look forward to seeing your outfits!
  • Senior Recognition Ads for the yearbook are due before break! Yearbook pre-order discounts also end Dec 15. Books are only $45 now but the price will go up in January. Extra order forms are in the library or outside of 298, or are available on euclidschools.org!

Please sign up for your Singing/Reading audition ASAP. Singing and reading auditions are Wednesday, December 13th and Thursday, December 14th.   • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, December 11th
  • Chef Dan Esquivel would like to thank everyone for their continued support through the years for buying the traditional holiday cookies and coming to the buffets. The young chefs are so busy in the month of December just like Santa's Elves making 9500 cookies, to-go food for the Euclid Fire Department, Breakfast with Santa at Euclid High School, prepping for over 200 for the Holiday Buffet, open for dinner for the Euclid Holiday Celebration Fundraiser, giving out soup at the Euclid Hunger Center, cooking meals for Euclid families for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas with Tri-C Culinary and Euclid Hunger Center.  He is very proud of his students for giving back to the Euclid community. They have been doing these things for years and he wants to recognize his students for their continued herd work. They are down here on our own little island and some times are forgotten. He is proud of his students and proud to be the Euclid Culinary Arts Instructor.

  • Congratulations to the boys 8th grade swim team who once again defeated Bedford Heskett 39 to 34.  Cameron Holton scored 8 points for the boys and Jaiden Flowers scored 7 points.
  • The SAVE Environmental Club holiday party will be today after school.  Come by and make a holiday wreath out of recycled material.  If you have any question see Mr. Young or Ms. Spivey.

  • Euclid High School’s Symphonic Orchestra and Choirs will present their annual Holiday Concert tonight at 7:00pm in the Euclid High School Auditorium.  Admission is $3.00.
  • Culture Club will meet at the Euclid Public library today 12/6/17 at 3 pm the Topic is Hip Hop Culture. See Ms, Russo for details in Room 147.

  • The Lake Shore Compact would like to invite sophomore students and their families to our Career Technical Education Expo at Euclid High School tonight from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in the E-Room. This Expo is designed to provide all 10th grade students and their families more information about the 22 programs that we offer. Both instructors and current career tech students will be here to discuss their program and answer any questions that you may have. The primary objective for each program is to prepare students to enter a four or two year college, a technical school or the career of their choosing. 12/04/17 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, December 4th
  • Team Cougar presented their book reports last week. They created board games based on the fictional books that they read this quarter. Many of the titles were chosen from our awesome school library. Thanks to Ms. Mack for helping us select great titles. Congratulations to all who competed. The votes are in, and the best games were: First Period Kaelynn MacCauley, Second Period, Ariayanna Belinge, Third Period, Genezareth Badillo, Sixth Period, Travina Scott, and Seventh Period Jordan Cannon. Team Jaguar will present their board games in the upcoming week and a overall best game will be chosen. Good luck to all 8th Graders in this heated competition.
  • Due to teacher meeting todays girls track practice has been CANCELLED!!!!. Practice will start tomorrow at 2:30 in the Indoor Track. Remember you must have final forms filed out and a physical turned into the athletic office in order to practice.
  • Attention all students who are interested in bowling this winter for the athletics department. There will be an informational meeting with the coach on Monday, December 4th in the little theater at 2:30 PM.
  • Attention all football players! If you are interested in playing football, next year, for the 2018-2019 football season, you are invited to attend a meeting, in the Little Theatre, at 2:30 PM, today. All current and new players are encouraged to attend!

12/01/17 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Friday, December 1st
  • Students who are taking End of Course tests next week, your homeroom teacher will be passing out a slip to you to remind you what days you are testing and where to report. Testing begins on Monday, December 4th and runs through Tuesday, December 12th from 7:30AM-11:00AM. Please make sure you are on time to school each day. The EROOM will be closed for lunch 4th period on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week. 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students who have lunch in the EROOM during 4th period, should report to the girls gym at 10:28AM on those 3 days. Any student who misses 4th period lunch due to testing, will eat 6th period in the cafeteria. Please see your counselor or Assistant Principal, Mrs. Urban, if you have any questions.
  • Ladies, do not forget that Indoor Track starts next Monday, December 4th at 2:30 in the Indoor Track. You must have your final forms filled out and your physical turned into the Athletic Office in order to practice.
  • Attention all students who are interested in bowling this winter for the athletics department. There will be an informational meeting with the coach on Monday, December 4th in the little theater at 2:30 PM.

11/30/17 Announcements

  • The library is closed today through 6th period.

It is not too late to participate in her workshop after school from 2:20 until 3pm today and next Wednesday.  If interested, you must commit to attending both days. Last year, 88% of her students passed this very difficult test, so if you can make the time, it will definitely be worth your while!!! To take advantage of this valuable opportunity, stop by her room today to sign up! Room 321.
  • Attention publications staff: There is a yearbook/newspaper meeting today after school in room 298. See you there!

11/29/17 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Wednesday, November 29th
  • Coach Ingram would like to congratulate 8th grade swimmers Jaiden Flowers for scoring 13 points and Cameron Holton for scoring 9 points to bring the boys to a victory over Bedford Heskett Middle school. Jaiden took a first place in the 50 Breast stroke. Aria Ray was the top scoring 8th grade girl, earning 6 points for the team. Congratulations team.
