  • Good morning Euclid High School, where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Thursday, December 17th.
  • Congratulations to Luke Johnson for winning the Pre Calculus Synthetic Division Tournament.  Luke barely edged out Kasey Johnson in the final round.  In the Algebra 2 division Ar'ryon Smith was the champion.  Jazmyne Negron was the runner up.  Kassidy Jackson was third, and James Hart was fourth.  Thank you to all of the participants.

    • The results from the December Ohio Math League contest are in. Congratulations to Kennedy Johnson for finishing in first place. Serena Hollis was second. Cora Huey, Peter Powell, and Luke Johnson tied for third. The next contest will be in January.

    • Attention Senior Yearbook Award winners: if you have not yet had your picture taken, today is the last day.  Please see Mrs. Gaul in room 298 to schedule a time ASAP.
    • The boy’s track team has plenty of spots open for our indoor team.  If interested report daily to the indoor track by 2:40.  See coach gibbons in room 103 for more information.
    • Attention all students: Have you ever wanted to model?  Culture Club is sponsoring a EHS Fashion show and we need models!  Applications and audition information available in Room 290.  Deadline for applications is today!
    • The EHS Fall play, "The Madwoman of Chaillot" runs through Sunday in the little theater.  Tickets are sold at the door for $8 for students and $10 for adults, or bring a canned good item and pay $7 for students and $9 for adults.  A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to doctors without borders.
    • Attention all Football Players: The Football Banquet will be held on Sunday, December 13th at 4:00pm in the High School E-Room.  Please stop in or call the Athletic Office to make your reservations.  We hope to see all Football Players at the Banquet.

    • IE today is for 4th period.  Remember, IE is mandatory unless excused by your teacher.
    • It's treats and tidings Thursday! Purchase a candy cane gram at lunch today for 25 cents and spread some holiday cheer. Candy cane grams will be distributed on Friday. Don't forget that Friday is Ugly Holiday Sweater Day!
    • Attention Key Club Members: Please plan on attending our last meeting of the year today at 2:45 in room 121.  We will be collecting field trip forms for Lake Farm Park and talking about other upcoming events.
    • There will be a Senior Class Cabinet meeting today at 2:35 p.m. in Room 296.  Be there as we finalize some important decisions.  See Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 if you have any questions.

    • Good morning Euclid High School, where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Winter Wonderland Wednesday, December 9th. 
    • IE today is for 3rd period.  Remember, IE is mandatory unless excused by your teacher.
    • Happy Winter Wonderland Wednesday!  Hope your day is merry and bright! Tomorrow is Treats and Tidings Thursday. Candy cane grams will be sold in the cafeteria on Thursday during lunch periods for a quarter and delivered on Friday morning. Celebrate a friend this week by sending them some holiday cheer!
    • Euclid High School’s Symphonic Orchestra and Choirs will present their annual Holiday Concert tonight at 7:00pm in the high school Auditorium.  The concert will include the traditional candle light processional to “O Come All Ye Faithful” by Choral Masters as well as a sneak preview of the Varsity Choral Competition Show.  The Symphonic Orchestra will perform the Surprise Symphony and end with the great Holiday classic “The Hallelujah Chorus” by Handel performed with full orchestra and Choirs.  Admission is $3.00.
    • Who ever thought school spirit could taste so good?  Come on out and support your school and enjoy Chipotle, this Thursday evening, 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Chipotle on Euclid Avenue in Willoughby.  Fifty percent of what we buy will be donated to support the Euclid High School Mediation Team, but be sure to bring the flyer or a picture of it on your phone.

    • The student newspaper will meet today at 2:00 in room 269.  Please share ideas and articles for the upcoming issue using Google docs.  If you missed the initial sign up meeting please see Mrs. Aponte-Brown in room 269 and attend the meeting.
    • The next Ohio Math League contest will be Tuesday Dec 8 during IE or after school in room 130.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.

    • Today is the last day to sign up with Miss Payne in the guidance office, for the Job Readiness Workshops to be held next week during lunch periods in Rm. 147 on Tuesday, December 8th and again Thursday, December 10th.  The workshops will focus on resume writing for prospective jobs.

    • Attention Seniors: If you won a yearbook award and have not yet taken your picture, please come to 298 today, Tuesday, after school! We must have your picture this week!

    • Hey Mediators!  If you are interested in coming on our Field Trip, Listen Up!  Parent permission letters are due by this Wednesday.  Bring them to the Mediation Center and select your food for the dinner.  Remember, our Field Trip is this Friday!
    • Euclid High School’s Symphonic Orchestra and Choirs will present their annual Holiday Concert on Wed. Dec. 9 at 7:00pm in the Euclid High School Auditorium.  The concert will include the traditional candle light processional to “O Come All Ye Faithful” by Choral Masters as well as a sneak preview of the Varsity Choral Competition Show.  The Symphonic Orchestra will perform the Surprise Symphony and end with the great Holiday classic “The Hallelujah Chorus” by Handel performed with full orchestra and Choirs.  Admission is $3.00.
    • Attention Art Club Members.  There will be an Art Club Meeting tomorrow after school in room 199.  Also, Open Studio is held every Tuesday after school in room 199.
    • The SAVE Environmental Club will meet this Thursday, December 3rd at 2:30 in room 391.  We will be making holiday ornaments out of recyclable materials, so bring anything you would like to use.   See Mr. Young or Mrs. Spivey if you have any questions.
    • Attention Key Club Members: We will be having our meeting this Thursday, December 3rd at 2:45p in room 121. We will be talking about our Lake Farm Park Country Lights Volunteering Opportunity and much more.  We will see you there!
    • The next meeting of the National Honor Society will by Thursday Dec 3 at 2:30 in room 130.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
    • There will be a Stand-Up meeting this Thursday in room 263.  We will begin promptly at 2:40.  Hope to see you there!
    • The student newspaper will meet this Friday, December 4th at 2:00 in room 269.  Please share ideas and articles for the upcoming issue using Google docs.  If you missed the initial sign up meeting please see Mrs. Aponte-Brown in room 269 and attend the meeting on Friday.
    • The fall play is sponsoring an after school bake sale and 50/50 raffle contest until December 4.  Tickets can be bought at the same table as the bake sale and the winner will be announced at the December 10th performance.
