09/30/15 Announcements


  • Good morning Euclid High School where students are standing up together and taking control of their future! Today is Wednesday, September 30th.
  • Get those emergency forms turned in and your Homecoming contracts filled out! Early bird tickets will be on sale in the Treasurer's office on Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2 for $20 per person. Don't miss out! Next week, ticket prices increase to $25 per person and will be sold Monday, October 5 to Wednesday, October 7.
  • Hey Mediators! Let's Represent our Team in the Stand Up Parade. Come help paint a Banner for Mediators to carry in the parade. We'll be in the Cafeteria, today, Wednesday, after school painting. Join us!
  • Teachers - Recycling will be collected this afternoon. Please place your recycle bin in the hallway. Thank you!
  • Auditions for fall play will take place after school October 5-7. Please come prepared with two contrasting monologues and be ready to read from the script. Sign up sheets for time slots will be available outside of the little theater starting October 1st. Location to be determined and announced shortly.
  • Attention Key Club Members: Please join us for our meeting this Thursday October 1st in room 121 at 2:40. Please bring your Key Club dues which are $11. See you Thursday!
  • Seniors! Don't forget to get involved with your class cabinet! We will be meeting on Thursday, October 1 at 2:35 pm in Room 296. Please see Mrs. Latessa with any questions or ideas for this week's meeting.
  • Interested in boosting your score for the ACT? Sign up for ACT Boot Camp with College Now in the Mediation Unit. The last day to sign up is Friday, October 2nd and it starts Tuesday, October 6th. See College Now for more information.
  • Attention all Art Club Members! There will be an important meeting today after school in Room 199. Any one interested in joining Art Club may also attend.
  • The PSAT will be given here at Euclid High School on Wednesday, October 14th starting at 7:30am. All Juniors interested in taking the test must register with Mrs. Payne in the Guidance Dept. The cost for the PSAT is $20.00. Registrations will be accepted before school, during 4th period, 6th period and after school 2:00pm - 3:00pm now through October 9th.
  • Attention Junior and Seniors: There are several college visits in the month of October. Next week Heidelberg, Edinboro, and Youngstown State representatives will be in the Little Theatre for their presentation. Remember the deadline to register for any college is 2 days prior to visit and you need to use your Naviance account.

  • Attention all students. The library will be closed all day tomorrow for ACT testing. First and seventh period study hall students who are required to attend every day should report to room 295 tomorrow. Media aides may also report to room 295 tomorrow.
  • Attention all Art Club Members! There will be an important meeting this WEDNESDAY, September 30, after school in Room 199. Any one interested in joining Art Club may also attend.

  • Girls Basketball Conditioning & Open Gym is Monday through Thursday from 6-8 pm.  You must have a physical form turned in in order to participate.  See Coach Phillips room 323.
  • The PSAT will be given here at Euclid High School on Wednesday, October 14th starting at 7:30am. All Juniors interested in taking the test must register with Mrs. Payne in the Guidance Dept. The cost for the PSAT is $20.00. Registrations will be accepted from September 18th thru October 9th before school, during 4th period, 6th period and after school 2:00pm - 3:00pm.
  • The Euclid High School Softball Team will be holding a Car Wash today, Friday, September 25th from 2-5pm.  It will be held at the Sunoco station across from Paninis at East 222nd Street.  Please support the EHS Softball Team by passing the word on to anyone you know who needs their car washed.

  • There will be a Student Council meeting today, September 23 at 2:35 p.m. in Room 296. We will be preparing for Spirit Week and finalizing Homecoming plans. See Mrs. Latessa or Mrs. Pollack if you have any questions.

  • Attention Students: We will be having our Key Club meeting Thursday September 24th at 2:40 in room 121. If you have the $11.00 for your membership dues, please bring them to the meeting. We will be discussing upcoming volunteering opportunities for September and October. Hope to see you Thursday!

  • Attention all students and staff! CRAVE, Euclid's Christian club invites you to join us for our 2015 kick off event: See You At The Pole! We will meet at the flagpole at 7am this Wednesday to pray for our school, our city and each other. Don't miss this powerful event where we can all be UNITED together in prayer! See you there!
  • Beaches, the sounds of salsa, and lot's of sun. Want to leave behind the cold cloudy weather of Cleveland in March? Then come to Puerto Rico with the Spanish Club! We will be traveling to Puerto Rico during Spring Break of 2016.   • Good morning Euclid High School where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Monday, September 21st.
  • The Art Club, Culture Club and Mediators are celebrating the International Day of Peace today by creating a Post-It for Peace Mural in the E-Room during lunch periods. All students are encouraged to participate. All you have to do is draw or write something on a Post-It that expresses a message of Peace - and we will do the rest - look for the table in the E-Room today! We will provide the Post-Its and the markers. Even the smallest acts of peace are steps towards a more peaceful world!

  • The following is a message from your principal, Ms. Terella:  Hi everyone.  I am really glad we can be together today.  I just wanted to say how proud I am of some of our teams I saw yesterday.  Boys soccer, volleyball, freshmen football all played with determination!  Best of luck to our students athletes competing this weekend. Please come out and watch our Panthers decimate the Mentor Cardinals tonight at 7:00pm.  Good luck to our cross county team as well!  Gentle reminders to wear IDs, remove headphones, use your lockers and clean up after lunch and breakfast.

  • Good morning Euclid High School where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Wednesday, September 16th.

  • Attention students if you would like to ride the fan bus to the football game on Friday tickets will be $6, which includes cost of the game and transportation.  Tickets must be purchased in the athletic office by this morning.  We must have at least 30 students to take the bus.  Again, tickets must be purchased by Today!

  • Today is Monday, September 15th.
