10/30/15 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Friday, October 30th.
  • Attention all students. The library will be closed again today due to testing.  All student library aides and students who are required to attend study hall should report to room 295.
  • Attention Softball Players, Euclid will be hosting a softball clinic with college coaches this Saturday from 1-3 on the JV Field. Please see Coach Cleaver in room 105 for details.
  • Attention Students, are you interested in teaching?  Are you interested in various other career options available in education?  Well, come check our Educators Rising.  We are having our first after school meeting this Wednesday November 4th at 2:35 in Room 249.  We will discuss various career options in education and other fields, career planning, field trips, fundraisers and more.  COME JOIN US!

  • For all those interested in playing baseball this year, there will be a mandatory meeting today at 2:35 with Coach LeRoy in room 242.  If you can't make it please see coach LeRoy before this time.

  • Culture Club will be meeting in Room 209 today (Wednesday) at 2:30 pm.
  • Fall play will be having a bake sale outside the little theater after school each day this week.
  • Attention Key Club Members: we will be having our meeting this Thursday, October 29th, in room 121 at 2:45. We will be discussing upcoming volunteering opportunities.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Rosati in room 121.
  • There will be a mandatory meeting for anyone interested in playing BASEBALL this year.  The meeting will be today at 2:35, after IE.  The meeting will be with Coach LeRoy in room 242.  If you can't make it please see coach LeRoy before this time.

  • The band and orchestra will host their 5th annual pasta dinner tomorrow, before the indoor marching band concert, from 4-7pm in the e-room.  Advance sale tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students.  Tickets at the door are $10 for adults and $7 for students.  Following the pasta dinner at 7pm, the marching band will perform an indoor concert in the east gym!

  • Due to some casting issues, there will be a second round of auditions for the fall play at 2:30 on today.  Main roles have been cast but there are some smaller, but equally important roles, that need to be filled.  Auditions will consist of reading from the script. 
  • Fall play will be having a bake sale outside the little theater after school each day this week.
  • Attention Key Club Members: we will be having our meeting this Thursday October 29th in room 121 at 2:45. We will be discussing upcoming volunteering opportunities.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Rosati in room 121.

  • The student Renaissance committee will meet today at 2:00pm in the Library Media Center.  All members should make plans to attend.

10/22/15 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!
  • The results for the first Ohio Math League contest are in. Congratulations to Luke Johnson for getting the highest score in the school. Cora Huey and Eddie Conger tied for second. Kennedy Johnson had the highest 11th grade score. The next contest will be on November 3. See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • Hola Spanish Club Members! Those of you who are going on the trip to Cleveland Public Theater today, please meet no later than 5:00 in front of the E-room and bring your appetite and your money for dinner. See you then.
  • Girls Basketball Try-Outs are this Friday, October 23rd. There will be a mandatory basketball meeting TODAY in Room 293 at 2:35.  You must have your completed physical and emergency forms to try-out. You can pick paper work up anytime next week from coach Phillips in room 293.
  • Seniors, there will be a Senior Class Cabinet meeting today at 2:35 p.m. in Room 296.  Please see Mrs. Latessa if you have any questions.

  • ART CLUB MEMBERS: Today is OPEN STUDIO TIME for all art members who wish to make art.  Today we will have a HALLOWEEN-THEMED Open Studio.  Come make masks, decorate pumpkins and create treats for our little trick-or-treaters.  Also, there will be an Art Club meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21st. We will prepare for the Annual EHS Halloween event during this meeting. Hope to see you all there!
  • Interested students remember to attend the Academic Challenge meeting Today.  The meeting will start at 2:45 in Room 337.  We have two exciting tournaments coming up next month that we need to get ready for so we hope all members can make this meeting and hope anyone interested in joining the Academic Challenge team attends this meeting.
  • Fall play will be meeting in the little theater 2:30.  All main roles have been cast but there are a few smaller roles that still need to be filled.  Students who are interested are invited to stop by rehearsal to speak with the director, Ms. Harris.  Please bring a list of known conflicts.

  • All students attending the Engineer for the Day field trip to CSU with Mrs. McGarry should report to the e-room at 9:20 after 2nd period.
  • Interested students remember to attend the Academic Challenge meeting on Tuesday October 20th. The meeting will start at 2:45 in Room 337. We have two exciting tournaments coming up next month that we need to get ready for so we hope all members can make this meeting and hope anyone interested in joining the Academic Challenge team attends this meeting.

  • Hearing screenings will take place today in the auditorium for all 9th grade students and for a select group of 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. Teachers, check your mailboxes for more information and please bring your students to the auditorium at the designated time. Thank you.

  • Good morning Euclid High School where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Wednesday, October 14th.
  • Congratulations to the 2015 Homecoming Court! Winners were announced at Friday's game, as the Panther football team won, 21-10 over Elyria. Samuel Jordan and Lamyja "Micey" Jernigan won the title of Prince and Princess. Aaron Berry and Aliyah Bachelor were crowned Euclid's 2015 Homecoming King and Queen. Thank you to the students, faculty, and staff for making this year's Homecoming weekend memorable and fun!
  • Hearing screenings will take place tomorrow, Thursday, October 15th in the auditorium for all 9th grade students and for a select group of 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. 10/13/15 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Tuesday, October 13th.
  • Attention students and staff: Hearing screenings will take place on Thursday, October 15th in the auditorium for all 9th grade students and for a select group of 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. Teachers, check your mailboxes for more information and please bring your students to the auditorium at the designated time. Thank you.
  • The first Ohio Math League contest will take place today during IE or after IE in room 130.  All are welcome.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • The first meeting of the National Honor Society will take place on Thursday, October 15 at 2:30 in room 130.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • All Fall Sports Varsity players please stop by the Athletic Office to pick up your invitation to the Hall of Fame Assembly.  The Assembly is on October 15th during 3rd period. You will need the invitation as your pass to attend.
  • Attention Juniors & Seniors:  College representatives visiting Euclid High School next week include: Monday, October 19th, John Carroll University - Tuesday, October 20th Ashland University and the University of Toledo – and Wednesday, October 21st, the University of Rochester and Baldwin Wallace University.  If you would like to attend please use your Naviance account.  Remember the deadline is 2 days prior to  the visit.

  • Good morning Euclid High School where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Monday, October 12th.

  • Good morning Euclid High School where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Throw Back Thursday, October 8th.
  • Just a reminder to all members of Homecoming Court, please report to today's band practice, beginning at 2:00pm in the Tracy Avenue parking lot. We will be rehearsing for Friday's game. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Latessa in Room 296.
  • Attention Key Club Members: Please plan on attending this week's meeting today at 2:40 in room 121. We are still collecting membership dues and permission slip forms for the Lake Farm Park Haunted Hayride. See you there! 
  • SAVE Environmental Club will meet today in room 391. If you have any question about the club please see Ms. Spivey or Mr. Young. 
  • Time is running out! Get your Homecoming tickets before they are gone! Remember you must have your signed, completed contract to purchase your ticket. Picture packets for Saturday's dance are available in the library. 
  • Today the Lady Panther Volleyball team will host Shaker Heights for the DIG PINK MATCH. Money raised at this event will be donated to the Sideout Foundation to help with the fight against breast cancer.  Help support the cause by attending the game, purchasing a t-shirt for $10 or $1 raffle tickets in the athletic office. 
  • There will be an additional audition time today for our fall play after school from 2:30-4:30 for anyone who was unable to attend the earlier auditions.  Principal roles have been cast but there are few additional parts that are open.

  • Good morning Euclid High School where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is TEAM GEAR WEARSDAY, October 7th. 
  • Attention Key Club Members: Please plan on attending this week's meeting on Thursday October 8th at 2:40 in room 121. We are still collecting membership dues and permission slip forms for the Lake Farm Park Haunted Hayride. See you there!
  • Attention Art Club Members! There is an important Art Club Meeting TODAY, Wednesday, after school in 199. We will be finishing our banner for the Stand-Up parade and also silk screening t-shirts.
  • Time is running out! Get your Homecoming tickets before they are gone! Remember you must have your signed, completed contract to purchase your ticket. Picture packets for Saturday's dance are available in the library.
  • Student Council will meet today after school at 2:35 p.m. in Room 296. We have some final preparations for Homecoming. See you there!

  •  It's not to late to join the Academic Challenge Team. The Academic Challenge Team will be meeting today at 2:30 in Mrs. McGarry's Room 337.  All are welcome. 
  • Attention Stand Up Committee Members: Remember to bring in your white t-shirt so we can tie dye them today after IE. If you have any Questions Please see Mrs. Korpowski or Ms. Russo. 
  • Auditions for fall play will take place after school today and tomorrow at 2:30p. Please come prepared with two contrasting monologues and be ready to read from the script. 
  • Attention Art Club Members! We will begin our Open Studio Time TODAY after school in Room 199. You can help make our Stand-Up Parade Banner, silk screen your t-shirt with our Art Club Logo or you can bring in your own personal art piece to work on during this time. Open Studio begins today and will be held every Tuesday from 2:00 - 3:30 pm in room 199. Also, there will be an Art Club Meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 7 in room 199 after school to finish our banner for the parade.

  • Get those emergency forms turned in and your Homecoming contracts filled out! Early bird tickets will be on sale in the Treasurer's office today for $20 per person.  Don't miss out!  Next week, ticket prices increase to $25 per person and will be sold Monday, October 5 to Wednesday, October 7. 
  • Attention Stand Up Committee Members: Remember to bring in your white t-shirt so we can tie dye them Wednesday October 7th after IE. If you have any Questions Please see Mrs. Korpowski or Ms. Russo.
  • Interested in boosting your score for the ACT? Sign up for ACT Boot Camp with College Now in the Mediation Unit. The last day to sign up is today!  Camp starts Tuesday, October 6th. See College Now for more information.

  •  Euclid High School’s football game this week is up for the Fox 8 Football Game of the Week.  The voting ends tonight at 9pm, so please take a few minutes to support our school!
