12/13/16 Announcement

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Tuesday, December 12th.
  • IE today is for 5th period.
  • The library is closed this week. First and seventh period study hall students who are on the roster should report to room 295.
  • There is a menu change for today. The menu is as follows: Chili over Bread bowl or Pepperoni & Cheese calzone, Assorted Vegetable, and a Whole Fruit frozen Juice Cup. Sorry for any inconveinance this may cause.
  • Congratulations to the Middle School Swim team who beat Andrews-Osborne yesterday by a narrow margin 84 to 82. The top scorers were Na'Im (pronounced NI eem) with 14 points, Audrey Zorman, Christina Saterides and Antwon Eason each with 11 points.
Meetings:
  • Attention Art Club! This is a reminder that TODAY is our holiday party after school. You can drop off any food you have for the party at any time during the day in room 199.
  • The next contest for the Ohio Math League will be today during and after IE in room 342.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • Baseball will have a mandatory meeting for any 8th -12th grader interested in playing baseball this spring at 3:45 in the weight room on Tuesday.
  • Attention all students interested in auditioning for Big Show!  We still have audition times available for this afternoon.  Please see the choir room door for open slots.  Choreography auditions will be held on Wednesday December 14th in the auditorium from 2:30-5:30pm.  ALL students auditioning must attend the choreography day to be considered for a part in the show.  Please bring all information sheets and signed show contracts to your audition.  See Mrs. Ross or Mr. Thorndike in the choir room with any questions.

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Thursday, December 8th.
  • The library is closed this week for testing. First and seventh period study hall students who are on the roster should report to room 295.
  • The Middle school swim team beat Bedford 133 to 70. The top scorer was 8th grader Audrey Zorman, who had a perfect score of 16 points and swam her first 400 yard freestyle in 5 minutes and 50 seconds. The second top scorers were 8th graders Christina Saterides, Katie Stephens and Shawn Mason each with 14 points. Next was 8th graderJerome Nash with 12 points. Congratulations middle school swim team for your second victory of the season. Come out and cheer us on Monday, December 12 as we take on Andrews-Osborne at home. Start time is 4:15.

  • Attention Key Club Members: Please plan on attending our final meeting of the year today at 2:45 in room 223.  We will be wrapping the gifts for the Rainbows and Cleveland Clinic Pediatric Patients and we will be discussing next month's activities.

  • Euclid High School’s Symphonic Orchestra and Choirs will present their annual Holiday Concert tonight at 7:00pm in the high school Auditorium.  The concert will include the traditional candle light processional to “O Come All Ye Faithful” by Choral Masters as well as a sneak preview of the Varsity Choral Competition Show.  The Symphonic Orchestra will perform the Surprise Symphony and end with the great Holiday classic “The Hallelujah Chorus” by Handel performed with full orchestra and Choirs.  Admission is $3.00.
  • Attention Key Club Members: Please plan on attending our final meeting of the year on Thursday, December 8th at 2:45 in room 223.  We will be wrapping the gifts for the Rainbows and Cleveland Clinic Pediatric Patients and we will be discussing next month's activities.

  • Congrats to the Euclid wrestling team. They had a good opening tournament showing with two wrestlers bringing home trophies. Senior Aaron Newell and freshman Freddy Lisy both placed. Great Job Panthers

  • Attention all students interested in Big Show Cast, Crew, or Orchestra.  There will be a short informational meeting today in the choir room from 2:30-3:00pm.  This is meeting is mandatory so please plan accordingly.  See Mrs. Ross in the choir room with any questions.
  • There is a meeting after school today at 2:45 in cafeteria for all players 8th through 11th grade interested in playing football
  • Culture Club will meet briefly in the EHS library at 2:30 pm today.

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Tuesday, November 29th.
  • The 8th grade swim team beat Bedford 117 to 70.  The top team scorers were: Sydney Adkins and Shawn Mason, both with 14 points.  The next top scorers were Christina Saterides, Melissa Maina and Rolland Miller each with 11 points.  Congratulations swim team. Our next meet against Bedford is at home on December 7.  Come watch the excitement.
  • Foreign Language Club is having B-week Bakery.  Come to the E-Room hall on Thursday from 2:30 to 3:00 for home baked goods, chips and other snacks.  ALL snacks are fifty cents and one dollar.

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Monday, November 21st.

  • The results from the November Ohio Math League contest are in.  Congratulations to Luke Johnson for coming in first.  Luke is now in second place for the year so far.  Connor Hoffman was second, but he is still in first for the year.  Kennedy Johnson was third, Jaime Geiger was forth, and Hope Mocadlo was fifth.  Jeremy Morton was again the highest finishing 10th grader.

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Wednesday, November 16th.
  • IE today is for 6th period.
  • Attention Students and Staff : tomorrow is National Children's Grief Awareness Day and we are asking you to support all of our EHS school community that have suffered any type of loss.  On Thursday, we are asking students and staff to wear royal blue or a T-shirt of remembrance to honor the memory of those who have died.  There will be optional activities during lunch periods that encourage support and healing.  There will also be Hospice speakers in the Little Theater at 2pm, for those not in I/E , to provide additional resources.  Teen Peer support will also be in the PAD as well.  If you have any questions see Ms. Russo or Ms. Davis.
  • The November issue of the Survey is here!  If you did not receive a copy of EHS' student composed newspaper in homeroom, head to the Media Center for an extra copy.  If you are interested in becoming part of the club, join us on Tuesdays after Thanksgiving Break in room 298.

  • Congratulations to the Academic Challenge Team members Vinicius Clinton, Ronchelle Marshall and Jourdan Richardson. They competed on the Acadeic Challenge TV show this Wednesday evening. Each team member honorably represented Euclid High School and we should be very proud of these fine scholars. The show will air on Channel 5 in February.
