  • The Lady Panthers Track Team ran at their Buckeye League Track Meet and came away with a 3rd place finish out of 8 teams. Some of the really nice performances were had at the meet. The girls are trying to qualify for an All-Star meet that will take place Feb 19th. If the meet were to happen today 17 of the girls would be qualified and participating in that meet. The girls run next Tuesday at Home at 4:30.
  • The Boys Track Team runs at home Monday against St Ignatius at 4:15 pm.

      • The results for the January Ohio Math League contest are in.  Congratulations to Kennedy Johnson for getting the highest score. She is also in first place for the year. Luke Johnson finished in second place, Cora Huey was third, Eddie Conger and Peter Powell were tied for forth.  Congratulations to all of the participants.
      • The Lady Panthers ran yesterday at the Spire Complex. The ladies ran really well for their first meet of the season. Lady's with top performances were: Caisja Chandler who was 1st in the 60 Meter Dash with a time of 7.99 and 1st in 200 Meter Dash with 26.13, Lamiyja Jernigan was 3rd in the 60 Meter Dash at 8.29, Alanna Watkins was 4th in the 60 Meter Hurdles at 9.90, Joann Felix was 2nd in the High Jump with a height of 5', Deja Bruce was 1st in the Long Jump with a leap of 16', Janai Flowers was 4th in the Shot Put with a throw of 31'2".  Congratulations Lady Panther track team.
      • Attention Juniors: The next meeting for the Junior class cabinet is Tuesday, January 19th @ 2:30 in room 201.  We will be deciding on our next Junior class fundraiser. All juniors are welcome.

      • The SAVE environmental club will meet today after school in room 391.  We will discuss possible winter activities, so bring your great ideas!  See Mr. Young or Mrs. Spivey if you have any questions.
      • Attention all Seniors!  There will be an important class meeting today at 2:30 p.m. in Room 296.  We still have some final decisions to make!  Stop by Mrs. Latessa's room with any questions. See you There!
      • Attention all boys track team members. Meet at 2:45 in the Indoor Track for the meet today.  We will be competing at Spire Tonight in Geneva.  Be on time.
      • Euclid High School’s Concert Band will host the annual Dr. Martin Luther King District Celebration Concert tonight in the Euclid High School Auditorium.  The concert will open with a performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and end with Dr. King’s final speech “I’ve Been to The Mountaintop” as the band plays“The Civil War.”  Morning Assemblies will be presented this morning during 2nd and 3rd periods.
      • Attention all Juniors and Seniors.  Please join us for the college financial aide presentation tonight at 7:00pm in the Little Theater.  Guest speakers will include a financial aide counselor and representatives from College Now of Greater Cleveland and the Armed Forces.
      • The EHS PTA is sponsoring a Winter Bash on Saturday, January 16th, from 8pm to 11pm.  The last day to purchase tickets is today.  The cost is $10.
      • The Boys Indoor Track Team started the season off last Sunday at Marietta College.  Top performances were turned in with 3 first place finishes in the following relays:  The 4x8 relay team of Melvin Lyons, Kameron Shelton, Dequan Williams And Darien Sanders.  The 4x4 relay team of Ron Lee, Brian Tillman, Dequan Williams And Melvin Lyons.  And the 4x2 relay team of Ronald Lee, Brian Tillman, Melvin Lyons And Hoover White who recorded the 3rd fastest time in the state and 15th fastest time in the USA. Other Notable Performances included:  Cornal Gibson 2nd in the shot put, and Darien Sanders 3rd place in the triple jump.

      • Good morning Euclid High School, where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Tuesday, January 5th, 2016.  Welcome to the Morning Show
      • IE today is for 2nd period.
      • Congratulations to Luke Johnson for winning the Pre Calculus Synthetic Division Tournament. Luke barely edged out Kasey Johnson in the final round. In the Algebra 2 division Ar'ryon Smith was the champion. Jazmyne Negron was the runner up. Kassidy Jackson was third, and James Hart was fourth. Thank you to all of the participants.
      • Congratulations to the Euclid Winter League Softball Team who went 4 and 0 over Christmas Break by beating Beachwood, Brush, Beaumont, and Solon. The Lady Panthers are now 6 and 0 on the season. Great Job!
      • Any student interested in playing BASEBALL this spring, there will be a mandatory meeting Wednesday January 6th at 235. The meeting will be in room 242. Don't be late. If you can't make it to the meeting make sure you see Coach LeRoy before this time.
