    Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Halloween Monday, October 31st   
  • The library will be closed this week due to testing.  Media assistants and senior study hall students who are on the roster should report to room 295.
Meetings This Week:
  • The next meeting of the National Honor Society will be tomorrow at 2:30 in room 342.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • Sophomores, applications for the Career Tech programs will be open tomorrow.  Come to Room 232 for details. 
  • There will be a MANDATORY Girls Indoor Track Meeting in the band room 168 tomorrow at 2:30.  Only 9-12 grade girls.
  • There will be a Student Council meeting on Wednesday, 11/2 at 2:30 p.m. in Room 296.  See you there!
  • There will be a Senior Class Cabinet meeting on Thursday, November 3 at 2:30 p.m. in Room 296. See you there!
  • Attention SAVE Environmental Club members! This Thursday, November 3rd is our Green Creek Stewardship Day during periods 4 through 7. Immediately after your 3rd period class go get your things and meet in the planetarium for lunch.  We will leave at 11am for the Green Creek site and return by 2pm.  Please dress for the weather and bring your signed permission slips.  If you have any questions see Mr. Young or Mrs. Spivey before Thursday.
  • Seniors! On November 16th, 14 College Representatives will be here for College Application Day!  You will have the opportunity to submit an application, and get an admission decision on the same day!  Learn more about this great opportunity during lunch periods on Thursday, November 3rd. Mrs. Gonakis will be in the E-room presenting details about how you can participate.  In addition, there will be a presentation given during IE on Monday November 7th.
  • All Boys Soccer Players, Please return your uniforms to Coach Selvaggio in room 176 by Monday, November 7th.  Coach Selvaggio can be found in room 176 across from the E-room.

  • There will be an informational meeting today at 2:00pm in room 107, for all those interested in joining the Wrestling team this season.  This is for those in 9th-12th grade.
  • Girls' Basketball Try-Outs will be today and tomorrow.  Any Girl Interested in trying out for basketball please report to the west gym today by 2:15.  See coach Bowers in room 103 with questions.

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Celebrity Thursday, October 27th 
  • This week is “SPIRIT” week.  Teachers, please pass out PRIDE tickets to those students who are dressed to match the today’s theme – Celebrity Day.  Tomorrow is Color Challenge.  Seniors wear Black, Juniors wear, Sophomores wear Blue, Freshman wear Green, 8th Graders wear White, and Staff wear yellow.

  • The band and orchestra will host the 6th Annual Pasta Dinner tonight before the indoor marching band concert from 4:30-6:30pm in the E-Room.  Advance sale tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students.  Tickets at the door are $8 for students and $10 for adults.  Admission is $3.
  • Attention Juniors: There will be a meeting today in room 201 from 2:30 until 3 PM.
  • Culture Club will be meeting today in the Lake Room at the Euclid Public Library at 3pm.  We are sponsoring a teen speaker from the Jewish cultural organization BBYO.  They will share information on what it is like to be a teen growing up in Jewish culture.  All EHS staff and students are welcome!
  • Any 8th grade girl interested in playing basketball please meet with Ms. Bowers in room 103 today at 2:30 pm.  Bring some workout clothes and basketball shoes.

  • The results from the first Ohio Math League contest are in.  Congratulations to Connor Hoffman for getting the highest score.  Jessica Lisy placed second.  Peter Powell placed third and was the highest scoring junior.  Jeremy Morton was the highest scoring sophomore.  Thanks to everyone that participated.

EHS SPIRIT Week - October 24th-28th

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Friday, October 21st
  • Attention All Students!  Next week is “SPIRIT” week.  We will have fun opportunities for you to show your Euclid High School spirit each day.  (See flyer).  PRIDE tickets will be passed out each day so dress to match the day’s theme.  So, start planning your costumes now.  For more information about “SPIRIT” week, see the posters displayed around the school.
  • Attention Sophomores!  Applications for the Career Tech programs will be open on November 1st.  Come to Room 232 for details.  
  • The 8th graders on Team Leopard have been challenged to read 40 books this school year.  In the first quarter we read 304 books as a team.  Our top readers were Deshawn George with 13 books, Ronajah Wylie with 12 books, and Rashad Broadnax, Skylar Jacobs, and Syntrell Thompson tied with 10 books each.  Congratulations to everyone on this accomplishment!  Keep reading!
  • Open hitting for the baseball team is going to be from 10:15a-11:15a tomorrow at their indoor facility.  Also, anyone interested in playing baseball should see Mr. Nosse in the boys gym or Chris Roseland (Jr. Baseball player) and get a paper about an upcoming mandatory fundraiser.

  • Attention 8th graders participating in the Yankee Candle fundraiser. Please return completed fundraiser packets to your History teacher this week.
  • Mr. Nosse in the boy’s gym has paperwork all baseball players must complete for a mandatory fundraiser we are doing as a team.
  • Team Jaguar is reading like crazy in the 40 book challenge!  So far this year, the students on team Jaguar have read 226 books.  The top three Jaguar readers are Janiya Harris who has read 11 books, Marcellas Ingram who has read 10 books and Christina Sataritas who has read 9 books.  Keep up the great work and happy reading!

  • How will you score on the ACT or SAT?  Find out by taking a full-length practice test given under the same testing conditions as the actual exam.  You’ll learn about the endurance and skill needed to score high on the ACT or SAT and you’ll get a personalized score report that shows your strengths and weaknesses.  The practice SAT will be on Saturday, November 12th from 10-2 and the ACT on Saturday, November 19th from 10-2. Deadlines for each are the Monday before the test.  Please see Miss Hunt, the 11th grade counselor, in room 324 to sign up.  This is open to all students grades 9-12.

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Monday, October 17th.
  • Congratulations to JROTC who competed in a local drill competition this weekend and walked away with 4 well earned Team trophies and one Individual Medal. Awards include:  2nd place Unarmed Platoon, 2nd place 1st year Squad, 3rd place Armed Platoon, 3rd place Personnel Inspection, Cadet Joann Felix, 3rd place Knock Out Medal.  Cadets, Commander and Sergeant Major are very proud of your accomplishments! Hard work and dedication does pay off! Truly a job well done!

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Thursday, October 13th.

Today’s Meetings:
  • Attention Students:  Please plan on attending our Key Club meeting today at 2:45 in room 223.  The $11 Early Bird dues are still being collected and field trip forms will be passed out for those of you interested in going to the Fall Rally.  We will also be decorating our display case immediately following our meeting.  Please see Mrs. Rosati-Kujay in room 223 if you have any questions.
Meetings Next Week:
  • Girls Basketball Conditioning and open gyms will start Monday October 17th at the high school.  After 7th period or IE please report immediately to the E-Room.  Conditioning and open gym will be Monday through Friday next week from 2:40 to 5.  Paper work and Try-Out information will be given out.
  • The first contest for the Ohio Math League will be Tuesday October 18 during IE and after school in room 342.  The Ohio Math League is open to all students who enjoy and are good in math.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • and now for news from the Music Department... A reminder to all Marching Band and Orchestra Members: Our Annual NEOEA Day Picnic is this Friday, October 14 from 11:30 to 2:30 at Euclid Creek! Members of 8th Grade Band and Orchestra are invited to attend. Marching Band Members should report to the high school at 4pm for the Brunswick Game. The Pasta Dinner and Indoor Marching Band Concert will take place on Wed. Oct. 26.
  • OGT tutoring will be offered until Fri, Oct. 21st.  Math tutoring will be offered 6th period M-F and Tues/Thurs 2:30-3:15pm & Fridays 2:00-3:00pm in Rm. 297 with Ms. Costello.  Social Studies & Science will be offered Tues, Wed & Fri 2:30-4:00pm in the E-Room with Ms. Scott.
  • How will you score on the ACT or SAT?  Find out by taking a full-length practice test given under the same testing conditions as the actual exam.  You’ll learn about the endurance and skill needed to score high on the ACT or SAT and you’ll get a personalized score report that shows your strengths and weaknesses.  The practice SAT will be on Saturday, November 12th from 10-2 and the ACT on Saturday, November 19th from 10-2. Deadlines for each are the Monday before the test.  Please see Miss Hunt, the 11th grade counselor, in room 324 to sign up.  This is open to all students grades 9-12.

Today’s Meetings:
  • Attention Student Council members! Today's mandatory meeting has been cancelled!  Our mandatory meeting with our blood drive rep has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 19.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Latessa or Mrs. Pollack.
  • Anyone interested in joining the swim team this year should report to the little theater today at 2:00 PM for an informational meeting.  If anyone has any questions before that they can come to the athletics office to see Ms. Butler.
  • Attention 8th grade volleyball players: team pictures are today at 2:45 in the stadium.  You will return your uniform right after pictures.  Be sure to wear your whole uniform, including your socks.
Thursday Meetings:
  • Attention Students:  Please plan on attending our Key Club meeting on Thursday, October 13th at 2:45 in room 223.  The $11 Early Bird dues are still being collected and field trip forms will be passed out for those of you interested in going to the Fall Rally.  We will also be decorating our display case immediately following our meeting.  Please see Mrs. Rosati-Kujay in room 223 if you have any questions.

  • Tonight is the senior night celebration for the Panther volleyball team. The seniors will be recognized at the conclusion of the junior varsity game at approximately 6:30 PM.  Come pack the stands and cheer on the Panther’s volleyball team.
