12/13/16 Announcement

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Tuesday, December 12th.
  • IE today is for 5th period.
  • The library is closed this week. First and seventh period study hall students who are on the roster should report to room 295.
  • There is a menu change for today. The menu is as follows: Chili over Bread bowl or Pepperoni & Cheese calzone, Assorted Vegetable, and a Whole Fruit frozen Juice Cup. Sorry for any inconveinance this may cause.
  • Congratulations to the Middle School Swim team who beat Andrews-Osborne yesterday by a narrow margin 84 to 82. The top scorers were Na'Im (pronounced NI eem) with 14 points, Audrey Zorman, Christina Saterides and Antwon Eason each with 11 points.
Meetings:
  • Attention Art Club! This is a reminder that TODAY is our holiday party after school. You can drop off any food you have for the party at any time during the day in room 199.
  • The next contest for the Ohio Math League will be today during and after IE in room 342.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • Baseball will have a mandatory meeting for any 8th -12th grader interested in playing baseball this spring at 3:45 in the weight room on Tuesday.
  • Attention all students interested in auditioning for Big Show!  We still have audition times available for this afternoon.  Please see the choir room door for open slots.  Choreography auditions will be held on Wednesday December 14th in the auditorium from 2:30-5:30pm.  ALL students auditioning must attend the choreography day to be considered for a part in the show.  Please bring all information sheets and signed show contracts to your audition.  See Mrs. Ross or Mr. Thorndike in the choir room with any questions.
  • Remember to pre-order your 2017 yearbook before winter break in order to get the discount!  Order forms are in the Media Center or outside room 298.  Payment in cash, check or money order is accepted. You must pre-order before break to get the discount!

  • Any student 8th - 12th interested in baseball should report to the weight room Tuesday at 3:45pm for a mandatory meeting to receive the workout schedule for this winter.
  • Remember to pre-order your 2017 yearbook before winter break in order to get the discount!  Order forms are in the Media Center or outside room 298.  Payment in cash, check or money order is accepted.  Remember, you must pre-order before break to get the discount!
  • Senior Yearbook Recognition Ads are due before break.  See Mrs. Valtman or Mrs. Gaul with any questions.

12/08/16 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Thursday, December 8th.
  • The library is closed this week for testing. First and seventh period study hall students who are on the roster should report to room 295.
  • The Middle school swim team beat Bedford 133 to 70. The top scorer was 8th grader Audrey Zorman, who had a perfect score of 16 points and swam her first 400 yard freestyle in 5 minutes and 50 seconds. The second top scorers were 8th graders Christina Saterides, Katie Stephens and Shawn Mason each with 14 points. Next was 8th graderJerome Nash with 12 points. Congratulations middle school swim team for your second victory of the season. Come out and cheer us on Monday, December 12 as we take on Andrews-Osborne at home. Start time is 4:15.

  • Attention Key Club Members: Please plan on attending our final meeting of the year today at 2:45 in room 223.  We will be wrapping the gifts for the Rainbows and Cleveland Clinic Pediatric Patients and we will be discussing next month's activities.
  • The 8th grade Orchestra concert is at Central Middle School.  The concert begins at 7pm and participating students should arrive with their instruments and music at 6:30pm.

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Wednesday, December 7th.

Meetings:
  • Euclid High School’s Symphonic Orchestra and Choirs will present their annual Holiday Concert tonight at 7:00pm in the high school Auditorium.  The concert will include the traditional candle light processional to “O Come All Ye Faithful” by Choral Masters as well as a sneak preview of the Varsity Choral Competition Show.  The Symphonic Orchestra will perform the Surprise Symphony and end with the great Holiday classic “The Hallelujah Chorus” by Handel performed with full orchestra and Choirs.  Admission is $3.00.

  • The 8th grade band concert is tonight at Central Middle School.  The concert begins at 7pm and participating students should arrive with their instruments and music at 6:30pm.

  • Congrats to the Euclid wrestling team. They had a good opening tournament showing with two wrestlers bringing home trophies. Senior Aaron Newell and freshman Freddy Lisy both placed. Great Job Panthers

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Thursday, December 1st.
  • IE today is for 7th period. 
Meetings:
  • Attention Art Club! We are postponing today's meeting until next Tuesday, December 6th after school. Please come to help finalize our party plans!
  • There will be a Stand Up committee and Senior Ambassador meeting today in room 263 at 2:40pm. Hope to see you there!
  • Foreign Language Club is having B-week Bakery.  Come to the E-Room hall today from 2:30 to 3:00 for home baked goods, chips and other snacks.  ALL snacks are fifty cents and one dollar.
  • Attention SAVE Club! We will meet today after school in room 391.  We will make holiday ornaments out of discarded materials, so bring your creativity.  See Mr. Young or Mrs. Spivey if you have any questions.
  • This is a reminder to sophomores that the Lake Shore Compact Career Technical Education Expo is tonight at Mentor High School from 6:00 – 7:30pm in the Student Center.  This event is for sophomore students and their families interested in a Career Tech program.
