Attention
all students interested in auditioning for Dance Team, The Pantherettes, and
Drum Major for the 2017-18 Marching Band Season, there will be a mandatory
organizational meeting on Monday March 13 at 5:00pm in the Euclid
High School Band Room. Practices will run for 1 week starting TUES.
March 14 and auditions will be held on WEDNESDAY March 22. For more
information, contact band director Ms. Tizzano in the high school band

signed up and registered for the Washington D.C. trip. There will be a mandatory meeting for you and
your parents on Thursday, March 2nd starting promptly at 6:00 p.m. in the
Little Theater.
- Attention 8th grade boys and girls
interested in track and field! Track and field conditioning will start Monday
March 6th after school at Central Middle School for all 8th grade boys and
girls. A bus will be here (@ESH) everyday to pick up runners to Central start
Monday March 6th be at door 7 by room 103 on time 2:45pm.
- If you missed the Girls Outdoor Track
Meeting come see Coach Nosse in the Boys Gym. The 1st day of practice is Monday
March 6th.
- Senior shirt order forms are available
in Senior English classes or in the library. Completed order forms and money
can be turned in to Mrs. Latessa in Room 296. Orders will be taken through
Friday, March 10.
- The University of Akron is hosting
their Annual Spring College Fair on Friday, March 31st. There will be over 100 colleges in attendance.
Transportation is provided by UA with a
signed permission form. Permission forms
can be picked up in 324 and must be returned to Ms. Hunt by THIS Friday in
order to participate.
- Eaton
Family Credit Union will be providing a $5,000 scholarship, in remembrance of
Matt Logies, and another $5,000 award to graduating high school seniors
majoring in Business or Finance.
Applicants or an immediate relative must be a Member in good standing of
EFCU to be eligible. Completed

Good morning Euclid High School, where we are
standing up with Panther PRIDE. Today is Tuesday, February 21st,
2017.
- The results from the latest Ohio Math
League contest are in. Congratulations to Connor Hoffman for finishing in first
place. Jaime Geiger was second, Luke Johnson was third. Kennedy Johnson was
fourth, and Jeremy Morton was fifth. For the year cumulative total Connor
Hoffman is first with 246 points. Luke Johnson has 204 points. Peter Powell has
175 points. Serena Hollis has 170 points, and Justin Fike has 166 points. The
last Ohio Math League contest of the year is coming up on PI day. Thank you to
Miss Burgess for all of your help.

Six lady panthers competed Friday at
the Spire All-Star meet and they all did an awesome Job. Caisja Chandler
continued her dominating ways with a 1st place finish in the 60 Meter Dash 7.78
(9th fastest in state) and 25.34 (7th fastest in the State). Joann Felix High
Jump 5 feet and came in 2nd place. Jordan Hughes tied her personal best of 9
feet in the Pole Vault good enough for 5th place. The 4 x 400 Relay of Kristan
Ross, Chalara Sutton, Lamyja Jernigan and Caisja Chandler ran a 1st place
finish in 1:44.55 (3rd fastest in the state). The same 4 ladies also ran the 4
x 400 Relay in 4:07.5 and came in 2nd place (4th fastest time in the state).
The girls have a home track meet today starting at 4pm against John Hay, Laurel
and Collinwood.
- Seventh period study hall is
roster-only today. Only students who are
required to attend should report to study hall.

Challenge team - Jourdan Richardson, Vinny Clinton and Ronchelle Marshall. They
did a great job in a very stressful competition. You can watch their performance this Saturday

be very proud of our fellow students who are willing to take on a challenge
like this one. Great job team.

- The Lady Panthers Ran Yesterday at
Spire for an Indoor Track Meet. The best performance of the day was put in by
Jordan Hughes. Jordan Pole Vaulted 9 feet, 1 foot better than her previous
best. She is currently only 6 inches
from breaking the school record. Other
nice performances were Kristan Ross 8.08 60 meter dash, Domonique Woods 3:25
800 meter run and Chalara Sutton 67 400 meter dash. A special shout out goes to Olivia Stovall who
stepped up and ran the 4 x 400 at the end of the meet because someone got hurt.

- Congratulations to team Jaguar who has
read 462 books this school year! Our
goal is for each student to read 40 books by the end of this school year. The top six readers on team Jaguar are
Christina Saterides who has read 21 books, Marcellus Ingram who has read 20
books, Janiya Harris who has read 12 books, Arshawn Palmer and Jessie Demore
who have each read 11 books. If you see
these students in the halls today, tell them great job! Keep it up Jaguar; Ms. Henry is very proud of
you!

Department offers summer internship experiences that give Northeast Ohio middle
and high school students the opportunity to learn and work alongside
world-renowned caregivers at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus, Regional
Hospitals, and Family Health Centers. If
you are in grades 8,9,10,or 11 and you are interested, please see your
