01/31/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Wednesday, January 31st
  • Educators Rising is having a bake sale this Friday after school by the sign-in desk.  Stop by and buy some bakery.
  • Students, If you are interested in taking the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) please sign up in Ms. Urban's Office. The test will be given on Wednesday, February 14, in the Little Theater.  The test runs from 1st to 4th periods. Accommodations will be made if you have 4th period lunch and miss it.
  • 8th graders!  The next Teen Night will be February 15th from 5-8pm here at the high school.  See Ms. Lang in the cafeteria during your lunch period for $4 pre-sale tickets otherwise they are $5 at the door.  You must have your student ID when you purchase a ticket and to enter the event.

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, January 29th
  • Today’s class SHOUT Outs! go to Ms. Tizzano’s 3rd Period Music Appreciation class for their high achievement on the Jazz History Test! Your hard work and good study habits paid of!  And also to Mrs. Walsh-Hilf’s 1st Period class for their excellent work ethic when working in collaborative groups.  This class has been using time wisely, completing their tasks and producing quality work for their upcoming Mythology Festival.
  • Congratulations to Mrs. Walsh-Hilf's High Achievers for Membean, Jamail Spivey, Savon Loving, Doug Habian, Bobby Franklin, LaShae Bacon, and Jordan Cannon.  Keep up the good work!
  • Attetion Euclid family: The Confucius Institute at Cleveland State University is putting on a great celebration for Chinese New Year on Saturday, February 22nd, and you and your family are invited to attend for free!  Because our school has been approved for the Confucius Classroom and our district has always been very supportive to the Confucius Institute's programs, they are providing our staff and students and their families, free tickets to the event.  There will be amazing performances and refreshments served.  Teachers who attended last year had a great experience!  Please let Miss Wang, the Chinese language teacher, know today how many tickets you will need.  Thank you!

01/26/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Friday, January 26th
  • There is a lunch menu change for today.  A meatball sub sandwich will be replacing the Lasagna roll up.  Please plan accordingly.
  • Dear Euclid family, This is from Miss Wang, the Chinese teacher. You and your family are all invited to the Chinese New Year celebration. We have a great opportunity to enjoy a free party at CSU! The Confucius Institute at Cleveland State University is putting on a great celebration for Chinese New Year on Saturday, February 22. There will be amazing performances and refreshments served. Tickets are $8 in advance and $12 at the door. However, because we are approved for the Confucius Classroom, and because our district has always been very supportive to the Confucius Institute's programs, they are providing our staff and students, as well as our families, free tickets to the event! Last year, we were also offered some free tickets. Teachers who went had a great experience! Please let me know by Monday, Jan 29, how many tickets you will need. Thank you!
  • Best wishes to our marching band flag and dance team- The Pantherettes, who will be traveling to Atlanta Georgia this weekend to attend The Honda Battle of The Bands. This competition attracts the best Historically Black College and University Marching Bands in the country!  Have a great time and be inspired!  Also, best wishes to Luke Johnson who will represent Euclid High School at the Ohio Music Educators Association Solo and Ensemble Contest tomorrow at Mayfield High School. Luke will be playing a Class A piano solo which is the highest level of difficulty. Best wishes Luke!
  • Attention Juniors!  If you are interested in the University of Akron, and your GPA is at least a 2.5, see Mrs. Gonakis in room 324.  You might have the opportunity to visit the University of Akron's campus on Friday February 9th.  Space is limited.
  • Any 10th or 11th grade student who took the PSAT at EHS in October during the school day and has not received their score reports, please see your counselor.

01/25/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Thursday, January 25th
  • Thank you to Reggie Moore, Tremel Lyons, Ronnie Steward, and Cameron Christian for showing outstanding school spirit at last night’s girls basketball game.
  • The library will be closed today and tomorrow due to testing.  Students who are not involved with testing are not permitted in the library media center on these days nor are they allowed to pass thru the library media center during class changes.
  • Yearbook and newspaper staff, the meeting for today has been cancelled. Work on your pages, take your pictures and bring your story ideas to our meeting next week.
  • Educators Rising will have a brief fund raising meeting after school today in room 231.
  • Attention Art Club! Our next meeting will be today in Room 199 after school.  Hope to see you there!
  • Attention Big Show crew!  There will be a meeting today at 2:15p in the auditorium.  If you have not turned in your permission slips yet, please bring them with you.  If you have any questions please contact Mr. McGill or Mr. Ferlito.
