05/29/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, May 29th.
  • The Lady Panthers Girls did it again.  They broke the same 3 records they previous set at Regionals Friday and all 3 events are going to compete at the State Track Meet this Friday and Saturday.  Caisja Chandler broke the 12 year old Regional Record in the 200 Meter Dash 23.59 currently the 2nd fastest time heading into State.  Our 4 x 200 relay team of Crump, Ross, Mclin and Chandler ran a school record time of 1:40.57 and Northeast Ohio's fastest time ever.  The same ladies ran the 4 x 100 with a time of 48.15, also a school record.  Good Luck ladies at the State Meet!
  • Attention all football players.  At 2:30pm, you must be in the weight room or Little Theater.  Helmets will be passed out today.

05/24/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Thursday, May 24th.
  • The Lady Panthers Track Team qualified 4 events to Regionals next week on Wednesday at Austintown Fitch High School.  Caisja Cahndler won the 200 Meter Dash and set a new school record and ran the fastest time ever in northeast Ohio at 23.87.  Freshman Cori Crump won the 300 Hurldes in 46.01.  The 2nd fastest time coming in regionals.  Finally Cori Crump, Kristan Ross, Talia Mclin and Caisja Chandler set 2 new school records in the 4 x 100 48.66 and 4 x 200 1:40.98.  Currently both times are in the top 3 in the state.
  • All students interested in auditioning for the marching band flag and dance team called Pantherettes still have 1 more chance!  Please report to the auditorium stage 3-6:30pm today and next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday May 29, 30, & 31!
  • Attention all athletes - If you would like to be a group leader for the 2018 Youth Field Days on May 31 and June 1 from 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM, please stop by the athletics office no later than the end of the day today to sign up.

05/17/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Thursday, May 17th.
  • What a great night yesterday for Senior Track Star Caisja Chandler.  Caisja broke not 1 but 2 school records, both previously set by World Champion Jessica Beard.  Caisja at the district meet ran 11.71 in the 100 meter dash and 23.91 in the 200 meter dash.  She is currently 2nd in both races in the state.
  • The Lady Panthers ran at the District meet yesterday and performed really well.  Sophomore Iyana Jenkins 1st year out for track made the finals and finished 9th in the Shot Put with a put of 33 feet 11 inches.  Freshman Ardriana Gill just missed the finals with a 10th place finish.  Freshman Cori Crump made the finals in the 300 Hurdles (4th place) and is also part of the relay teams that had the 2 best times in the meet in the 4 x 100 and 4 x 200, along with Freshman Talia Mclin, Sophomore Kristan Ross and Senior Caisja Chandler.  Junior Courtney Rice ran a huge PR in the 100 Hurdles and is currently 5th.  Sophomore Saundra Hull ran her best time of the year 2:31 in the 800 to qualify for the finals.  The finals will take place on Friday at Mayfield High School starting at 6pm.  Come cheer our girls on to victory!

05/14/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, May 14th.
  • The Middle school track team competed in the Middle School State Track and Field meet this past weekend.  The girls are 2018 state runners-up. Congrats for the girls 4x200 relay team and 4x400 relay team, Alexis Cain in the 200 meters, 400meter, and anchor of the 4x400 relay team, YaJhaira Reid in the 100 meters and 4x200 relay and the boys 4x100 meter relay team.  Congrats to all!
  • The Lady Panthers Track Team ran Friday at the GCC League Meet.  Caisja Chandler was MVP of the league with 2 first place finishes in the 100 Meter Dash 11.83 and 200 Meter Dash 24.30.  Joining her on the ALL GCC 1st Team were Talia Mclin, Kristan Ross and Cori Crump who placed 2nd in both the 4 x 100 Relay and 4 x 200 Relay.  Cori Crump also placed 2nd and All GCC in the 300 Meter Hurldes.  Districts are this Wednesday and Friday starting at 4pm at Mayfield High School.

05/11/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Friday, May 11th.
  • The middle school track team competed in the East Against the West GCC league meet.  Jordan Cannon went undefeated this year in the boy’s high jump on his way to shattering the league record of 5'10" with a jump of 6'1” and finishing as one of the top jumpers in the state.  Claishon Ivory took 2nd in the boy’s high jump.  Sydney Little took 2nd in boys 100 meters and joined Keishawn Armstrong, Jordan Cannon, and Claishon Ivory to win the boy’s 4x100 relay.  The boy’s 4x400 relay team made up of Amad Harris, Ty Howard, Alonte Pryor, and Malik Davis took second place.  In the girl’s events, the 4x200 relay took 2nd and Alexis Cain completed the regular season being undefeated in the 200, 400, and running the anchor leg of the 4x400 relay.  Yesterday, she won the 400 meters with a time of 58.9 seconds.  Alexis, along with Sydnei Deloach, Keira Johnson, and Jade Neal defended their 4x400 relay title winning with a time of 4 minutes and 14 seconds and going into the Middle Schools State Meet with the fastest time.  Good luck middle school boys and girls competing at the Middle School State Meet this weekend.

  • Congratulations to Ms. Henry's top Membean users: Keyara Phillips, Erica Kirksey, Janya Parrish, Jaylianna Cook, Alaysia Mckinney, Jose Orozco, and Nijah Gayle. Keep up the great work and finish the year strong!
  • The Euclid Middle School Girls Track Team Won The 2018 GCC Conference yesterday.  Taking 1st place in 7 of 13 event: 200 meters, 400 meters, 4x100 relay, 4x200 relay, 4x400 relay, high jump, and long jump.  2nd place in the 100 meters, and several 4th, 5th and 6th place finishes.  The boys track team finished a close 3rd with six 1st places finishes in: 100 meters, 400 meters, 4x100 relay , 4x200 relay, 4x400 relay, high jump, 2nd in high jump, and several 4th, 5th, and 6th place finishes.  Great Job boys and girls.

  • TODAY is the last day to turn in your Dave and Buster's permission slips and money! Please see Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 before the end of the day.

  • Attention students who completed the rock project with their Reading teacher.  Please pickup your rocks in Ms. Henry's room during 4th or 5th periods.

  • The Euclid Track Relays is tomorrow at 9am.  Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students.
  • Attention student-athletes, this Sunday is the 2018 PAW Awards in the E-Room and Auditorium.  We are excited to celebrate all of your achievements and see you all dressed up for the red carpet interviews!  Doors open at 5:30 and the show starts at 7:00 PM.  All are welcome to attend the show so please come and show your support for the student-athletes who have worked incredibly hard all year long!

  • Congratulations to the 8th grade girls tennis team for their victory over Wickliffe yesterday.  Alaysha Rogers and Deianira Ashley won their doubles match 7-4.  Way to go Lady Panthers.

  • The Euclid Track Relays have been changed to this Saturday at 9am.  Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students.

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Wednesday, May 2nd.
  • Congratulations to the band and orchestra on an outstanding performance at the Spring Concert on April 26!  A special Shout out to members of the 8th grade band and orchestra for your great preparation as you joined the high school ensembles!  Ms. Tizzano and Mrs. Reik could not be more proud of you!
  • Congratulations to Ms. Henry's top Membean users: Erica Kirksey, Garrett Chatmon, Nijah Gayle, Khalil Lewis, Jaden Linton, Armon Weaver, Jayshawn Thomas, and Janya Parrish. Great job! Let's finish the year strong!
  • Shout out and congratulations to the 8th grade softball team who defeated Shaker Heights yesterday, 32-15. We are panther proud of you ladies!
  • Newspaper staff: Remember, we have a meeting tomorrow after school.  We need to finish our stories for the final issue! See you there!
  • Yearbooks are still available for purchase in room 298!  Bring $50 cash, check or money order and pick one up!  Get one before they are gone!
  • Attention all Marching Band Members.  Rehearsal for the Memorial Day Parade runs from today through Friday, May 25 and the parade is Monday, May 28.  Pantherettes and Drumline Pre-Band Camp Clinic runs May 14-18 from 4-7pm each evening.  Band Camp begins on Monday, June 4 and runs through June 14 from 8:30am until 3pm daily!  Cedar Point is Friday, June 15.
  • Attention Seniors!  Prom ticket are on sale until Wednesday, May 9.  The treasurer will be available from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily during this time.  She is located in the main office.  Please make sure you have your signed contract, photo ID, and cash or money order to purchase your ticket. 
  • Senior Prom King and Queen applications are now available from Mrs. Latessa in Room 296.  Applications are due to Mrs. Latessa by Tuesday, May 8.
  • The senior Dave and Buster's field trip permission slips are available in the 11th and 12th grade unit office.  Signed permission slips and $40 cash or money order are due to Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 by Monday, May 7.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Latessa in Room 296.

  • The 64th Annual Euclid Track Relays is this Saturay, May 5th.  Come out to the new track stadium.  There will be a total of 31 teams attending.  The cost of the meet is $6 for Adults and $4 for Students.
