11/30/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Friday, November 30th. 
  • Attention staff and students.  Next week, starting Monday, December 3rd, selected students will take the Ohio State Test.  Students, it is important that you do your absolute best because this puts you one step closer towards graduation.  Therefore, please arrive to school on time.  Testing starts promptly at 7:30am.  Please report to your designated testing area with your ID.  If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Jones in the Curriculum Office.
  • The next meeting of the National Honor Society will be Tuesday December 4 at 2:20 in room 342.  We will plan our trip to the Cleveland Food Bank.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • Euclid High School’s Symphonic Orchestra and Choirs will present their annual Holiday Concert on Wednesday, December 5th at 7:00pm in the Euclid High School Auditorium.  The concert will include the 8th grade orchestra, 8th grade Euclid Elite show choir, Choral Masters, the Varsity Choral Competition Show, Forte Choir, and the Symphonic Orchestra.  Admission is $3.00.
  • The Marching Band Auxiliary Unit, the Pantherettes, will hold a clinic on Saturday, December 8th from 9am until 1pm in the auditorium.  Please sign up on the band room door!
  • Hey Seniors!  It's time to submit your senior quote!  If you need another order form, see Mrs. Gaul in room 298.  Only five dollars!  Also, if you haven't yet ordered your book, the price WILL go up in January.  Online ordering information is available in room 298 as well.

11/29/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Thursday, November 29th. 
  • The Panther swim teams officially kicked off there season last night with losses against the Eastlake North Rangers. The Mens team was led by Sophomore Sawn Mason, who took 2nd place overall in the 100 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke, both were lifetime bests. Sophomore Christina Saterides, who took 3rd place in the 200 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke, who was also 2 for 2 in lifetime bests. Both swimmers achieved state tournament qualifying times, along with Sophomore Na'im Hobson in 200 IM, where he took 2nd place. The Panthers are back in action on Wednesday as they travel to Solon to kick off the GCC schedule.

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, November 26th.
  • Due to the romaine lettuce situation we will not have Salads today until the delivery comes this afternoon. Rest assured that all of our salads will be made with a mixture of Iceburg lettuce, Spinach and kale.
  • Chinese Club meets today!  Chinese Club members, especially if you are performing this Saturday, please come to the meeting today. We are getting ready for Saturday's Chinese Performance.  If you want to join us for Saturday, make sure you have the permission slips signed.  See you at Chinese Club!
  • Practice begins today for all ladies coming out for Indoor Track.  You must have all of your final forms and physical turned into the athletic office to practice.  See Coach Nosse if you have any questions!

11/19/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, November 19th.
  • The results for the second Ohio Math League contest are in.  Congratulations to Evan Botzki for finishing in first place.  Evan is now in second place for the year.  Gwen Hale finished in second place.  Ashawn Berry finished in third place on this contest and is also in 3rd place for the year.  Roummell Harris finished in 4th place on this contest and is first place for the year.  Nate Johnson and Laniya Hill tied for 5th place.  Nate Ahragbedey scored his 200th career point.  Jermemy Morton scored his 400th career point.  The next contest will be Tuesday, December 11.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • The L.E.A.D. Scholars would like to thank everyone for their donations and the efforts devoted to this year's Turkey Day Food Drive.  We had a goal to help 30 Euclid Families enjoy this Thanksgiving and with your help and the big push at the end... we EXCEEDED OUR GOAL!  We will be helping 41 families enjoy the holiday this year!  Those families will receive all the fixins' and a full sized turkey to prepare and enjoy with their families for Thursday.  Great Job Panthers!  And now... for the winning homeroom... the competition was really tight in the end and everyone was vying for those sandwiches but... with 107 items donated the winner is... Mr. Davies and his homeroom.  Congratulations.  You'll receive your breakfast tomorrow during your homeroom.  A special shout out to Mrs. Pesch and her homeroom who fell short by only 4 items (they donated 103 items total).  A very special shoutout to the staff that didn't have a participating homeroom but still made HUGE contributions; your generosity was greatly appreciated.  A special special shoutout to Coach Gay for storing and housing ALL of the turkeys for us; we couldn't have done it without you Coach Gay!  Thanks again Panthers for a job well done.  You all have a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy your time with family.
  • Chinese Club members! Please come to the Chinese Club meeting in Room 226 today!  We need to work on our December 1st Performance.  Even If you are not in the performance, feel free to stop by anyway.  Chinese Club members, see you at Chinese club meeting today!
  • Attention boys and girls track athletes. Don't forget about coming to the Little Theatre after school today to listen to Euclid's own World Gold Medalist Jesica Beard. All girls track athletes must be there.
  • Tonight, the Lady Panther Basketball Team will host Canton McKinely at 7pm.  Tickets are $5 and the money raised from the game will be donated to the PBIS incentive program at Arbor Elementary.

  • Congratulations to Constance Chaplin.  Connie officially signed with the University of Eastern Michigan to play basketball.  Her hard work and dedication has given her the opportunity to continue her education and her basketball career at the next level.  Way to go Connie.

  • Reminder to all students auditioning for the 2019 Big Show Production of "Freaky Friday," choreography auditions are today in the auditorium from 2:30-6:00pm.  You MUST attend all of the audition to be considered for a part in the show.  Please see Mr. Pearl of Mrs. Ross in the choir room with any questions.
  • The next contest of the Ohio Math League is this week.  You can participate in the contest today or tomorrow after school.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • EHS Culture Club is sponsoring a speaker at the Euclid Public Library today at 2:30 pm.  The speaker will present her story as a family member of a Holocaust Survivor. All students and staff welcome!

  • Attention Football players today from 2:30pm-3:30pm will be the absolutely last time to turn in equipment. If you do not turn in your equipment you will be billed for any missing equipment. Please turn in today.

  • Attention any student that is interested in auditioning for the 2019 Big Show Production of "Freaky Friday," audition week is here! Sign up sheets for singing and reading times are posted on the choir room door, please sign up for a time either for today Monday November 12th or Tuesday November 13th. ALL must attend Choreography auditions on Wednesday November 14th from 2:30-6:00pm in the auditorium. Please see Mr. Pearl or Mrs. Ross in the Choir room with any questions.
  • Chinese Club members! We have a meeting today at Room 226, the Chinese Classroom. Come to Chinese Club meeting today, old members or new! See you at Chinese Club!
  • All football players 9th-12th grade have mandatory meeting at 2:30pm after school in the locker room, and then equipment turn in. In addition, all lockers must be cleaned or your lock will be removed.

  • Attention all EHS staff and students, we only have 1 1/2 weeks left for our Turkey Day food drive.  Teachers, please review the list of items requested with your students and consider even offering some classroom incentive for those who participate.  This is a homeroom competition but... suggest that all your classes get in on the initiative.  The last day to donate items is November 16!  If you have questions, please email Dr. Mines or Mrs. Davis.  30 is our goal for this year so let's help others have a Happy Thanksgiving!

If you have questions, please email Dr. Mines or Mrs. Davis. 30 is our goal for this year so let's help others have a Happy Thanksgiving!

11/05/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, November 5th.
  • Congrats to Mrs. Walsh-Hilf's Reading Class High Membean Achievers! Keep up the Growth Mindset and demonstrating integrity and leadership. Congrats to Isaiah Carson, Sadye Penny, Legacy Pratt, Evin Harris, Al Lonna Taylor and Makayla Moyer-Whitmore!
  • A special shout out to the students who traveled and attended Central State University’s College Preview Day on Saturday, November 3rd.  We had a smooth ride down to Wilberforce, OH and students got the opportunity to tour and visit some of the facilities on the campus.  Hopefully the school helped students gain some perspective and insight about their perspective collegiate careers.  “Exposure is not to be feared because it brings the hidden to the surface so decisions can be made in truth.”  Thanks to all that chipped in and helped with the initiative.
  • Remember the Turkey Day Food Drive happening now through November 16th.  This is a competition and the winning homeroom will receive a Chick-Fil-A breakfast.  See Mrs. Davis (317) and Dr. Mines (371) for more information.
  • All members of National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS), today we will meet briefly in Ms. Collins’ room: 321 after school.  Since there is no school tomorrow, this will serve as our scheduled meeting for this week. We have lots to talk about so please be in attendance if you can.
  • Varsity boy’s basketball practice will be at 5:30 today.  Please be dressed and ready to practice by 5:20.
  • Attention all those interested in auditioning for a spot in the cast of "Freaky Friday" the musical- there will be an informational meeting on today at 2:20pm in the Choir Room to go over specifics for the audition, as well as forms that need to be filled out.  Please plan to attend!  If you cannot be there, see Mr. Pearl in the Choir Room for all the information.

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Friday, November 2nd.
  • Attention, students who earned merit roll the first quarter: please stop into your grade level office to pick up your bronze lanyard pin. All you need is your ID!
  • Attention all Panther fans! Tickets for this week’s home playoff football game will be available today at 2:30 pm in the athletics office! All pre-sale tickets are $8.00. Tickets at the gate will be $9.00. Please keep in mind that since this is a playoff game, no passes of any kind will be accepted.
  • Attention all high school girls. If you missed the girls track meeting Wednesday see Coach Nosse in the boys gym today to get paperwork.  Also, if you need a physical come get a paper for directions and phone number to Dr Infled's office.
  • Remember the Turkey Day Food Drive happening now through November 16th.  This is a competition and the winning homeroom will receive a Chick-Fil-A breakfast.  See Mrs. Davis (317) and Dr. Mines (371) for more information.
  • The training clinic for students interested in auditioning for the Pantherettes, is tomorrow, November 3 from 9-1pm in the auditorium. 
  • The band and orchestra will be hosting a Skating Party this Sunday from 3-6pm at United Skates of America in Wicliffe.  Cost is $8 and includes skates or $4 if you have your own skates!  Join us for a fun filled afternoon of skating this Sunday.
  • Attention all students attending the Central State University trip tomorrow, please be sure to arrive at the high school ON TIME. We will leave promptly at 5:30am. Please bring snacks/breakfast for the bus and money for a dinner stop on our return to school. Please remember dress code and behavior expectations. If you have any questions, see Dr Mines in 371 before the end of the day.
