  • Today's Student Council meeting has been cancelled.  We will meet again on Tuesday, February 5 at 2:20 p.m. in Room 296.  Stay warm!

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, January 28th. 
  • Congratulations to Mrs. Walsh-Hilf's High Membean Achievers! The following people went above and beyond when completing their mandatory minutes. Jim Brown, Damia Carson, Legacy Pratt, Jada Felder, Donaijah Kane and Miya Harvey great job! Keep up the growth mindset.

  • Hey EHS Students, Its time to kick off black history month and celebrate our heritage.  The L.E.A.D. SCHOLARS are hosting a door decor contest celebrating the accomplishments of African-Americans across all subjects and industries.  We are looking for teams of no more then 5, made up of 1 teacher and up to 4 students,  to design/decorate classroom doors highlighting an African-American in their field (for example, a math teacher's door would highlight an African-American in the math/engineering field).  If you are interested, ask a teacher if they will be willing to assist and have that teacher confirm the room number and all group members via email.  This contest will begin Feb. 1 with final doors being due February 13th.  The winner will be announced on February 14 during the morning announcements.  Please see Mrs. Davis (317) or Dr. Mines (371) for more information.  Thank you to all the teachers that have volunteered to participate; you are awesome!

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Friday, January 25th. 
  • Euclid First Responders (Euclid Police Department & Euclid Fire Department) will be conducting a Public Safety Training on the Municipal Campus (around City Hall) on Friday, January 25, from around 7:00 AM- 10:00 AM.  There will be a lot of activity in the area and they want to make sure that people know that it is just a drill.  There will be gunshot sounds, as well as other things that could potentially frighten community members.  Remember, this is a PLANNED TRAINING EXERCISE.

01/24/19 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Thursday, January 24th. 
  • The latest results for the Ohio Math League are in.  Congratulations to this months winner: Evan Botzki. Roummell Harris and Sierra Eaddy tied for second.  Dylan Gray and Alana Thigpen tied for fourth.  For the year Roummell and Evan are first and second with only 4 points between them. Ashawn Berry, Isabel Baca, and Nate Ahragbedey are all within one point of each other battling for third place.  Ashawn Berry captured his 200th career point; and Evan Botzki scored his 300th career point as he passed Mike D'Arcy and tied Jessica Lisy for 10th place on the all time list.  The next contest will be Tuesday, February 12.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.

  • Euclid High School’s Concert Band will host the annual Dr. Martin Luther King District Celebration Concert tonight at 7:00pm in the Euclid High School Auditorium.  The concert will open with a performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and end with Dr. King’s famous speech “I Have A Dream” as the band plays “The Civil War.”  Today’s morning assemblie will be presented 2nd period for all 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade Classes, and 3rd period for all 8th and 9th Grade Classes.  Admission to the Concert is FREE!

  • A special shout out and THANK YOU to all the staff that have donated to the Panther Pantry ( a new initiative being started at the High School). Please check the Monday bulletin for information regarding items being requested.   • Euclid High School’s Concert Band will host the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. District Celebration Concert on Thursday, January 17th at 7:00pm in the Euclid High School Auditorium.  The concert will open with a performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and end with Dr. King’s famous speech “I Have A Dream” as the band plays “The Civil War.”  Two special daytime performances will be presented on the morning of the concert: 2nd period for all 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade Classes, and 3rd period for all 8th and 9th Grade Classes.  All band members are required to attend the dress rehearsal Wednesday, January 16th from 5pm until 7pm in the auditorium and 1st period on Thursday, January 17th before the two assemblies. Admission to the Concert is FREE!

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, January 7th.
  • Shoutout to team Leopard for having 1,352 books read so far this school year. This is an average of 14 books per student! Our top 5 readers are A'Niyah Cephus with 69 books, Haden Hewis with 55, Shanti Henderson with 49, Antonio Grover with 47, and Grace French with 44. Other students who have already reached 40 books are Jeffrey Elkins, Legacy Pratt, Akilia Williams, Anje'La Scott, and Christian Porter. Congratulations, and keep up your hard work in becoming lifelong readers.
  • The results from the 3rd contest of the Ohio Math League are now official. Congratulations to Roummell Harris who finished in first place and is also leading the contest for the year. Evan Botzki finished in second place and moved up to the 12th position on the all time career list. Jamilah Henry was third. Isabel Baca, Gwen Hale, and Nate Johnson tied for 4th place. For the year Ashawn Berry is in 3rd place, and Nate Ahragbedey is in 4th. The next contest will be Jan 15th.

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Friday, January 5th.
  • Congratulations to the top Membean students on Team Jaguar over winter break: Erin Wilson, Tyreasure Mason, Daisy Maina, Charles Atwell, Reggie Priah. Your dedication to continue to learn even during our break is impressive. Way to show growth mindset and perseverance! Keep up the great work!
  • The Lady Panthers Track Team ran their 1st track meet yesterday at Spire in Geneva.  Good performances were put in on the track by Cori Crump 2nd Place 60 Hurdles, Kristen Ross 59.5 1st place 400 Dash, Alexis Cain 60.3 2nd place 400 Dash, Jade Neal 2:37 1st place 800 Run and the 4 x 200 Relay of Cori Crump, Alexis Cain, Talia Mclin and Kristan Ross 1st place 1:46.  Many other girls ran for the 1st time yesterday and got a taste of what indoor track is all about. 
  • Have you been practicing over winter break?  Are you referral free for the 2nd quarter?  Do you think your skills on the basketball court are good enough to defeat the one and only Mr. James, Ms. Jones and Mr. Guzik?  The student-staff basketball game will be played on Friday January 11th and the staff is ready to defend their title!  If you think you have what it takes to finally defeat the EHS staff and you are referral free for the 2nd quarter, please see Mrs. Valtman in Room 201 by Friday January 4th at 2:30 pm to sign up.  No applicants will be considered after this Friday at 2:30. 01/03/19 Announcements

  • Good morning and welcome back Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Thursday, January 3rd.
  • Congratulations to team Jaguar for having read 675 book so far this school year for the 40 Book Challenge.  The top readers on the team are Mickaila Buefort with 89 books, York Eberhardt, with 21 books, Dariya Rodgers with 20 books, Sam Peterson with 18 books, and Rayshawn black with 14 books.  On average, each student has read 7 books so far this school year!  Great job team Jaguar!  You are becoming life-long lovers of reading!

  • Attention All students!  Culture Club will be hosting a Black History Assembly next semester.  We are looking for talented students who are interested in performing.  The auditions will be held in January (Date to be announced). Songs, Spoken Word and Dance should be 2 to 4 minutes and align with the theme Lift Every Voice and Speak!  Use your break to break out and perform!  See Ms. Russo in Room 147 if you have any questions.
