04/30/19 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Tuesday, April 30th.
  • Attention SAVE Environmental Club. We will have a brief meeting today, Tuesday, April 30th after school in room 391. We will plan an end of year activity and meet with a group from Dr. Stephen's political science class who want to partner with us for a project they are doing. If you have any questions see Mr. Young or Mrs. Spivey.
  • The Student Council meeting for today has been cancelled.
  • Attention all students who will be new members of the 2019-20 Euclid High School Marching Band, the Euclid Band and Orchestra Parent Club will host an important meeting in the Euclid High School band room at 7pm on Wednesday, May 1. All new incoming band and dance team members along with their parents are invited to attend this important meeting!
  • All students and staff! The yearbooks have arrived! If you pre-ordered a copy, please come to pick it up ASAP. If you would still like to purchase one, bring 50 dollars cash to Mrs. Gaul in room 298. There is a limited supply, so get one today!
  • Euclid Track Relays are this Friday at 3pm. There will be a total of 30 teams. Adults $6 and Students $4.
  • Attention 9th-11th grade students who had Mrs. Shamblen/ Simmons. If you still have your personal narrative Magnificent Marvelous Me project and would be willing to bring it in to be shown as an example, please drop it off to room 123. All projects will be returned to you.
  • Permission slips for the 8th grade formal are located in the 8th grade office. If you are interested in attending please stop down and grab a permission slip.
Attention Seniors! The following deadlines are fast approaching:
  • Senior applications for Prom Court are now available from Mrs. Latessa in Room 296. Completed applications are due to Mrs. Latessa by Tuesday, May 7.
  • Senior Prom tickets are on sale today through Wednesday, May 8. Tickets can be purchased in the treasurer's office, located in the main office corridor. You must have ID, your signed contract and cash or money order to purchase your tickets. The treasurer is available from 10:30 to 12:30 and 1:30 to 3:30 for ticket sales. All school fees must be paid before purchasing your tickets!
  • Senior Dave and Buster's forms are available in the 12h grade unit office. Your signed permission slip and $40 must be turned in to Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 by Monday, May 6.

  • Congratulations to Team Jaguar. This year, the team has read 1,170 books. The top readers in each period are Mickaila Buefort in 1st period, York Eberhardt in 2nd period, Dariya Rodgers in 3rd period, Daijah Mitchell in 6th period, and Matthew Guy in 7th period. Keep up the great work and happy reading!
  • The Lady Panthers Track Team won the Cleveland Heights Invitational Saturday. 1st place finishers were Alexis Cain 200, 400 and 4 x 200 relay, Kristan Ross 4 x 200 relay, Adaya Lemon Shot Put, Cori Crump 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 Relay. Jade Neal 4 x 800 and 800, Sincere Cunningham 4 x 200, Summer Nettles 4 x 400, Alaysia Mckinney 4 x 400, Saundra Hull 4 x 400 and Keira Johnsn 4 x 400. The lady run at Home Wednesday vs Shaker.

The band concert will also be presented 7th period today! All 7th period classes are welcome!. Admission to the concert is $3.

  • Coach Ingram would like to congratulate the 8th grade tennis team for their victory over South Euclid Lyndhurst yesterday. The team won 3 of the four courts. First Singles player, Mikeyah Harrell won 8-1, First Doubles Dariyah Rogers and Jada Felder won 6-4. Come out tonight as the tennis team battles Chardon Middle School in a home match starting at 4:00.

04/16/19 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Tuesday, April 16th. 
  • Attention staff and students. Tomorrow, Wednesday marks the start of our testing window for the End of Course Exams. Throughout the school year, we have been working hard to prepare for this very moment. Now it’s time to put that practice into action. Students, it is important that you do your absolute best because this puts you one step closer towards graduation. Therefore, please arrive to school on time. Testing starts promptly at 7:30am. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Jones in the Curriculum Office.
  • Congratulations to the top Membean performers on Team Jaguar: Deeshawn Parker, Rayshawn Black, Kaya Cotton, Daemari Robinson, Erin Wilson, Nyaja Thomas, Alecia King. Keep up the great work as we prepare for the AIR Test!
  • The Lady Panthers track team ran at the Glenoak invitational this past Saturday and were 3rd place out of 23 teams. The 4 x 200 relay of Cain, Crump, Cunningham and Ross set a meet record and state leading time of 1:40.95. Other great performances were turned in by Cunningham 100 dash, Crump 100 hurldes, Ross and Cain 400 dash, Crump 300 Hurdles, Johnson 4 x 800 and the 4 x 400 relay Cunningham, Neal Cain and Ross. The girls and boys run this Wednesday at home vs Mentor at 4pm.

  • Congratulations to eight grader Jashae Brantley for winning her singles tennis match yesterday against Wickliffe Middle School. Jashae won her match by a score of 8 to 2.

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Tuesday, April 9th. 
  • The Boys Track Team won the Marilyn West Invitational on Saturday at Collinwood HS. First Place Finishes Were Turned By: Titus Jackson in the 100 Meters, Nick Rice in the 300 Hurdles, the 4x 100 JV team of Alonte Pryor, Cameron Smith, Stephen Singletary, and Dennis Ivey, the 4x400 team of Devontae Cotton, Mekhi Hawkins, Chris Cooper, and Nick Rice. Other place finishers for the Panthers were Brandon Wright and Omari Howard 2nd place, Bryson Griffin 3rd Place, and Ashawn Berry 4th Place.  
  • Congratulations to Ms. Henry's top Membean performers who went above and beyond completing more than the required 45 weekly minutes: York Eberhardt, Xavier Weaver, Jaidon Wilson, Daemari Robinson, Charles Atwell, QuinNya Powell, Kamryn Denson, and Nevaeh Jones. These students did a great job by completing additional Membean minutes this week. Keep up the momentum and focus as we prepare for the AIR test.

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Thursday, April 4th.
  • The Lady Panthers Track Team just lost to Brunswick yesterday 70-63. 4 time winners in the meet were Cori Crump in the 100 and 300 Hurdles, 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 and Alexis Cain 200, 400, 4 x 200, 4 x 400. Some other great performances were Kristan Ross 12.6 100 Dash, Adaya Lemon 37 feet 2 inch shot put, Jade Neal 5:45 Mile run,Talia Mclin 13.2 100 Dash and Imaya HarperBanks 29.5 200 Dash. The Ladies will run next Wednesday at home against Elyria.

  • Results are in for the first round of The 2019 Book Championship. 2nd Round pairings are: The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas vs The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo vs When I Was the Greatest by Jason Reynolds, The Giver by Lois Lowry vs Wonder by R. J. Palacio and Dear Martin by Nic Stone vs To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Round 2 voting starts today and runs through Wednesday in your English class. Don’t get left out of the voting to help determine which books advance to the Final Four. 
  • Congratulations to the top Readers on Team Jaguar: Mickaila Buefort with 129 books, York Eberhardt with 37 books, Daija Mitchell with 31 books, and Dariya Rodgers and Malikah-Abdul tied with 30 books. Team jaguar has read 1,051 books which is an average of 10.5 books per student. Keep up the great work!
  • Congratulations to Mrs. Walsh-Hilf's High Membean Achievers who went above and beyond in their Membean minutes studying for over 2,000 minutes!
