05/28/19 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Tuesday, May 28th.
  • The Lady Panthers Track Team Ran At Regionals this Past Friday. Senior Adaya Lemon was 8th place in the Shot Put and Junior Cycncere Cunningham was 7th place in the 100 Meter Dash. The 4 x 400 Meter Relay of Jade Neal, Cori Crump, Alexis Cain and Kristan Ross was 7th place. The next 4 events made it to STATES this coming Friday and Saturday at Ohio State University Jesse Owens Stadium. Sophomore Cori Crump was 3rd in the 100 Meter Hurldes. The 4 x 200 Meter Relay of Sincere Cunningham, Cori Crump, Alexis Cain and Kristan Ross was 2nd place. Freshman Alexis Cain was 2nd in the 400 Meter Dash and Junior Kristan Ross was 3rd in the 400 Meter Dash. Way to Go Ladies and good luck at States!

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Thursday, May 16th. 
  • The Lady Panthers track team ran yesterday at the 1st Day of Districts at Mayfield. The 4 x 800 of Jade Neal, Saundra Hull, Keira Johnson and Devinay Bolar ran to a 5th place finish out of 13 teams. Senior Adaya Lemon was 4th in the Shot Put and qualified to the Regional Meet next Wednesday. The following ladies made the finals on Friday. Cyncere Cunningham and Talia Mclin 100 Meter Dash, Talia Mclin 200 Meter Dash, Kristan Ross and Alexis Cain 400 Meter Dash, Jade Neal and Suandra Hull 800 Meter Run, Cori Crump 100 Hurdles and the 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 Relay of Crump, Cunningham, Cain and Ross. Fridays Meet is at Mayfield with field events starting at 4pm and running events at 6pm.
  • 8th Grade NJHS students, please look at your Google classroom for announcements regarding NJHS.
  • There will be a girls basketball meeting today at 2:30 in the West Gym. Girls in grades 8-11 that are interested in playing summer basketball should attend this meeting.

  • The middle school track and field team competed in the 2019 GCC 7th & 8th Grade Combined Great 8 Track & Field Meet. Results for the boy’s team were: Leroy Billups 1st in 100meters dash, 2nd with 4x200 meter relay, 3rd with 4x400 meter relay, Malik Davis 1st 400meter dash, 3rd with 4x400 meter relay, Jordan Edwards 3rd 110meter hurdles, Stan 3rd with 4x400 meter relay. The girl’s results were: girls 4x100 meter relay 1st place members of this relay Dajanay Bailey, A'Amari Holsey, Charli Coleman, and Eve Clark, 2nd place 4x200 meter relay members Christina Harden, Charli Coleman,Dajanay Bailey, A'Amari Holsey, 2nd place 4x400 meter relay Eve Clark, Kaitlyn Jones, Tanaya Smith, DaJahnae Moore, and Kaitlyn Jones 1st in the 400 meter dash.

  • Euclid Track Relays are tomorrow at 3pm. There will be a total of 30 teams. Adults $6 and Students $4.
  • The last meeting of the National Honor Society will be after school on Tuesday, May 7 in room 342. See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • Permission slips for the 8th grade formal are located in the 8th grade office. If you are interested in attending please stop down and grab a permission slip.
  • Students and staff, there are a few copies of the yearbook still available. If you would still like to purchase one, bring fifty dollars cash to Mrs. Gaul in room 298. There is a limited supply, so get one today!
Attention Seniors! The following deadlines are fast approaching.
  • Senior applications for Prom Court are now available from Mrs. Latessa in Room 296. Completed applications are due to Mrs. Latessa by Tuesday, May 7.

  • Attention all students who will be new members of the 2019-20 Euclid High School Marching Band, the Euclid Band and Orchestra Parent Club will host an important meeting in the Euclid High School band room at 7pm tonight. All new incoming band and dance team members along with their parents are invited to attend this important meeting!
  • All students and staff! The yearbooks have arrived! If you pre-ordered a copy, please come to pick it up ASAP. If you would still like to purchase one, bring 50 dollars cash to Mrs. Gaul in room 298. There is a limited supply, so get one today!
