01/09/17 Announcements

• Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Monday, January 9^th, 2017!
• The library will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday.  Students in study hall and student aides should report to the library as usual.  Sorry for the inconvenience.
• The new library lunch procedure starts today.  There is a five minute period of time during each lunch period for you to get to the library or to lunch.  Fourth period is 10:45-10:50, fifth is 11:40-11:45, and sixth is 12:35-12:40.  If you arrive early or late or are in the hall outside of those times, you will receive a tardy slip.  Please see Mr. Corfman or Ms. Mack if you have any questions.  
• Attention Students!  Do you have a talent for singing, poetry, dancing, modeling, or fashion?  We will be holding auditions for the 12th Annual "Flash in Time" Black History Program next Wednesday, January 11th, 2017 at 3p.m. in the Little Theater. Please come prepared with a 1-minute routine/audition piece.  Sign-up sheet will be located outside of Ms. Russo/Ms. Flower’s office on the first floor near the 8th grade unit office.  This show is a decades show where students will perform pieces such as the Temptations, New Edition, TLC, Michael Jackson, Langston Hughes, etc.  Any questions, please see Ms. Flowers.  Don't forget to sign up.  This will be the only audition held for the show that will be on Friday, Feb. 24th.

Meetings This Week: 

• Educators Rising has a meeting after school on Tuesday, January 10th.
• National Honor Society will meet Tuesday in room 342.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
• Stand UP will meet Tuesday in room 263.  Please plan on attending to discuss Black History Month and Stand UP week.  If you have any questions please see Mrs. Korpowski or Mrs. Salinas.
• Student Council will meet on Wednesday at 2:30pm in Room 296.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 or Mrs. Pollack in Room 263.
• Attention Key Club Students: We will not be having our key club meeting this week. Our first meeting will be next Thursday January 12th. See you next week!
• The annual Dr. Martin Luther King District Celebration Concert will be this Thursday, January 12 at 7:00pm in the Euclid High School Auditorium.  Admission to the Concert is FREE!  A special afternoon performance will be presented during 7th period on the 12^th in the auditorium and all 7th period classes are invited to attend.  All band members are required to attend dress rehearsal Wednesday, January 11 from 5 until 7pm in the auditorium.
