Morning Announcements - April 25, 2023

Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Engaged. Today is Tuesday, April 25, 2023 and these are your morning announcements.

THE R-FACTOR - Take Ownership of your Mindset - E+R=O is a mindset first and a skill set second. Apply the mindset as you continue to build your skillset. One of the most important things to consider with the R-Factor Mindset is acknowledging that you do not control Events. Each day you will experience a variety of challenging events. You have the power to influence events and situations, but you do not control them. There will always be things outside of your control that you will have to deal with.

Attention students: State testing for Part 1 of Algebra 1 and Geometry is tomorrow and Part 2 is Thursday. You must take both parts. Room assignments are posted in the cafeteria. If you are testing, arrive at 7:15 with your charged Chromebook. If you are not testing, arrive at 9:15 AM. The last day for ELA make-ups is Friday.

Panthers! Don't miss today's Foreign Language Club. We will be tasting the most traditional, Chinese breakfast bread sticks. You will love it! It's the most popular breakfast food in northern China. Come to Foreign Language Club after school today!

Congratulations to the following seniors running for this years prom court! Rodell Adamson, Edward Banks, Haden Hewis, Nadia Jarvis, Lauren Johnson, Heaven Lewis, Namiah Lightfoot, Aniya Nevels, Makayla Norwood, Aaliyah Oatman, Amarii Randall. Voting for prom royalty will take place this Saturday at the dance, where our winners will be crowned!

Attention all students: There is still space available to have fun and learn some dance moves on Wednesday and Thursday 2:30 pm. Dancing with Dezi begins at 2:30 pm in the old building, upper gym!  Please enter at the athletic entrance. See Ms. Russo for details.

Attention, all students interested in learning how to wrestle!  Coach Webster is starting open mats this week.  Open mats will run  on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00 to 5:00.  These are voluntary workouts and everyone is welcome.

Are you interested in joining the cheerleading squad? There will be an informational meeting for all students interested on Monday May 1st at 3:15 in the alumni room. Come get your questions answered about tryouts and learn what to expect for the upcoming season.
