04/05/16 Announcements

• Good morning Euclid High School, where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Tuesday, April 5^th.
• IE today is for 2^nd Period.
• The next meeting of the National Honor Society will be today at 2:30 in room 130.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
• Attention Art Club!  There will be Open Studio TODAY after school in room 199 until 3pm.  There will also be a meeting on WEDNESDAY after school in room 199.  Hope to see you there!
• Attention Student Council members!  If you were interested in working the Spring Blood Drive, you need to attend tomorrow's meeting in Room 296 at 2:30 p.m.  We will be meeting with our Red Cross representative.  If you have any questions or can't make the meeting, you must see Mrs. Pollack or Mrs. Latessa before Wednesday's meeting.
• Do you like to sing, dance, and perform?  Do you like to compete, travel, and win awards?  Audition for the 2016-2017 Varsity Chorale Show Choir!  There will be an audition information meeting this Thursday April 7th from 2:30-3:00pm in the choir room.  We will discuss the audition dates and the audition process.  Attendance at this meeting is mandatory, we need to see you there!  Bring a friend and check out all that VC has to offer.  Please see Mrs. Ross or Mr. Thorndike in the choir room with questions.
• Attention Key Club Members: Please plan on attending Thursday's meeting in room 121 starting at 2:45.  We will be discussing the closing events for our school year.
• Attention all Seniors interested in pursuing a career in Education.  Applications for the Cleveland Area Minority Educators Recruitment Association scholarship must be submitted by April 7, 2016.  If you are interested, see your counselor for application information.
• Attention all Seniors. The last day to submit your applications for local money scholarships and Kessel Scholarship is Friday, April 8 @ 2:00pm in you Guidance Counselor's Office.
• Euclid High School proudly presents Big Show 2016 "West Side Story."  This year's performances are Thursday April 7th, Friday April 8th, and Saturday April 9th at 7:30pm and Saturday April 9th and Sunday April 10th at 2:00pm. Tickets at $10 for students and $12 for Adults.  Tickets can be purchased at the door.  We look forward to seeing you all come and support this amazing group of students in the cast, crew, and pit!  Please see Mrs. Ross in the choir room with any questions.
• The Athletic Booster Club is offering a scholarship to senior athletes whose parents have been active in the Booster Club.  Anyone interested can pick up a scholarship form in the Athletic Office.  The forms must be completed and returned to the Athletic Office before Friday, April 15, 2016.
• Seniors! Permission slips for the annual Senior Field Trip to Dave and Buster's on May 11 are now available in the library. Signed permission slips and $35 cash can be turned in to Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 or Mrs. Gaul in Room 298. Permission slips are due by Friday, April 29th. You must have an emergency medical form on file to attend. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Latessa.
• You tired of it? I mean all the arguing and fighting. Want to do something about it? Learn how to mediate and you can help people talk things out instead of fight them out. We will be training new Mediators for next year's team this month. Now is the time to come down to the Mediation Center and pick up an application.
