Good morning Euclid High School, where we are
standing up with Panther PRIDE. Today is Wednesday, February 8th,
2017
- Congratulations to team Jaguar who has
read 462 books this school year! Our
goal is for each student to read 40 books by the end of this school year. The top six readers on team Jaguar are
Christina Saterides who has read 21 books, Marcellus Ingram who has read 20
books, Janiya Harris who has read 12 books, Arshawn Palmer and Jessie Demore
who have each read 11 books. If you see
these students in the halls today, tell them great job! Keep it up Jaguar; Ms. Henry is very proud of
you!

Today is the last day for the Euclid
High School Key Club Valentine flowers and candy sale in the E-room during 4th,
5th, & 6th periods! Flowers are $1
and candy is $1.
Meetings:
- Pitcher and catcher tryouts for the
baseball team are today and Friday in the Boys gym at 3:45.

Attention Student Council members! Our next meeting is today after school. If you are interested in helping out with our Valentine's
Day fundraiser, please see Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 or Mrs. Pollack in Room 263
to sign up during your lunch.
- Attention SAVE Environmental Club. We will meet this Thursday, February 9th
after school in room 191. See Mr. Young
or Mrs. Spivey if you have any questions.
- Culture Club is sponsoring a speaker on
Friday February 10th at the Euclid Public Library at 3pm. The speaker, Thomas Cargill, is the son of an
actual Tuskegee Airman and will share a very unique presentation. All students and adults are welcome!
- Seniors - Have you been accepted into
college? Have you been offered any
scholarship money? Do you want to be
acknowledged for your accomplishments? If
the answer is yes, then please bring in your college-acceptance and
scholarship-offer letters on Tuesday, February 14th. Bring them to room 290 and Mrs. Gonakis will
make copies and take your picture. Valentine's
Day treats will be available for those that participate!
- Seniors, the College Now Scholarship is
now accepting applications. If you have
at least a 2.5 GPA and at least an 18 on your ACT, please come to the College
Now office in Room 147 to learn more.
- Cleveland Clinic's Civic Education
Department offers summer internship experiences that give Northeast Ohio middle
and high school students the opportunity to learn and work alongside
world-renowned caregivers at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus, Regional
Hospitals, and Family Health Centers. If
you are in grades 8,9,10,or 11 and you are interested, please see your
counselor for more information. Applications
must be submitted by Friday, February 24th.
