09/15/17 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Friday, September 15th.
  • Today’s class SHOUT Outs! are from Ms. Tizzano and Mr. Pearl, along with Tim Tibbs and Bradley Childs, to the marching band 6th and 7th period for your excxellent preparation for Battle of The Bands this Saturday at Shaw High School!
  • And also, from Mrs. McGarry to her 6th period class for being awesome engineers.
  • Reminder to all students. Your Acceptable Use Policy forms are due to the Media center. Please turn them in to your Homeroom teacher. Also, Homeroom teachers, please return the forms that have been turned in.
  • Reminder to all Students. Senior pictures will be taken on Friday, in the Auditorium during your English Class and grades 8-11 will take pictures on Monday, September 19th during your English class.
  • Reminder to all Staff, Please make sure you stop in at the Auditorium for your Staff yearbook picture on Monday. They are setting up at 6:00am so any time after that is good.
  • Homecoming 2017 "Midnight Masquerade" tickets will go on sale on Friday, September 15. Get your early bird ticket pricing for $20 per person on Friday, September 15, Monday, September 18, and Tuesday, September 19. On Wednesday, September 20 and Thursday, September 21 tickets will be sold at the regular price of $30 per person. Tickets are only sold through the treasurer's office. You must have a signed contract and ID to purchase!
  • A reminder that the marching band will make their 4th appearance in the Battle of the Bands hosted by Shaw High School this Saturday, September 16th at the Shaw High School stadium.  The parade kicks off at 4:30pm with the Battle of the Bands starting at 6pm.  Tickets are $10 in advance and can be purchased in the Euclid High School band room.  Come out to support our panther marching band!
  • Students in the Fall Production are reminded that there is a mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday, September 19 from 6-7. All Fall Production contracts are due this day, signed by a parent or guardian. See Mrs. Walsh-Hilf at rehearsal this evening or in room 192 for questions.
  • Coach Ingram would like to congratulate senior tennis player Brianna Reese for beating her 2nd singles opponent from North High School on Thursday evening. Brianna won two sets 6-4 and 6-2. Congratulations Brianna.
  • In Middle school cross country, Jade Neal placed 2nd out of 47 in the Mayfield meet last night with a time of 13:48, setting a new Personal Record.

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Thursday, September 14th.  
  • Today’s class SHOUT Out is from Mrs. Walsh-Hilf to her 1st Period class for following classroom procedures and using class time wisely. Students participate in class and turn in work daily. They are working hard and demonstrate a growth mindset!

  • Boys basketball open gym will take place in the main gym from 5:30pm - 6:30pm for 9th and 10th grade only. 11th and 12th grade will be held from 6:40pm - 7:40pm. No entry for late arrivals.

You must have an emergency medical form on file for the 2017-2018 school year! Contracts must be completed before purchasing a ticket! Tickets will go on sale on Friday, September 15!

  • Mrs. Pollack, Mrs. Korpowski, and Ms. Navratil want to shout out their 3rd period Freshman English Class because they did an awesome job on their growth mindset project this week!
  • The first regular Stand Up and lead meeting will be held today in Room 147 at 2:25pm. See Ms. Russo for details.
  • Fall Play Participants are called for a meeting and read through after school in the Little Theater, from 3:30-5:30. Please bring a sharpened pencil, notebook and your calendar.

  • The Band and cheerleaders will march through the hallways today during the last 20 minutes of 7th period! Cheerleaders and band members should exit 7th period at 1:35pm and report to the band room!
  • The Fall Play roles will be posted at the end of the school day today, outside of the Little Theater. Mrs. Walsh-Hilf is looking forward to our first full rehearsal meeting on Tuesday from 3:30-5:30. All those who signed up for cast are crew are required to be there. See Mrs. Walsh-Hilf for details.
  • Any girl in grades 9-12 that wants to try out this year for basketball please attend the information meeting this Friday September 8th. The meeting will start at 2:30 in the West Gym. Paper work and a schedule of up coming events will be handed out.

  • Teachers and Staff, please move your cars to the student parking lot before 5:00pm today. It is imperative that our families have parking access to entrances with students' schedules for Open House tonight. Parents will need to park at the auditorium, Eroom, and Fordyce to gain access to the entrances with students' schedules.
  • Mrs. Walsh-Hilf would like to thank all of the talented actors and crew members who came to auditions yesterday. This is the last call for any crew members. If you got an application for crew, please drop off to Mrs. Walsh-Hilf in room 192 by 7th period today. The final auditions for the Giver will be held today from 3:30-5:30. Students 9-12 are invited to present their 1-2 minute monologue. Crew members are invited to stop by and sign up as well.   • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, September 5th. 
  • From the Euclid Public Library: students under 18 are not permitted to be in the library without an adult.  All other times, and weekends are accessible.  If students are signed up for an after-school program, or are interested, they can see Mr. Ray at the library for more info.
  • For all students who are interested in joining the EHS Art Club: Our first meeting will be today in room 199 after school.
  • Today is the day! If you ever had a dream to be a star on stage, you need to be at auditions today from 3:30-5:30. 9-12 graders are invited to attend open auditions for the Giver, today in the Little Theater. Those interested in crew, should also stop by. Any last minute questions can be answered by Mrs. Walsh-Hilf in room 192. If you can't make it today, you have only one more chance tomorrow.
  • Attention Student Council members! We will be meeting TODAY after school at 2:20 pm in Room 296. Homecoming is right around the corner and we need ALL hands on deck. See Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 or Mrs. Pollack in Room 263 with questions!

  • The band and cheerleaders will march through the hallways this Friday, September 8, during the last 20 minutes of 7th period!  Cheerleaders and band members should exit 7th period at 1:35pm and report to the band room.
  • Attention Juniors and Seniors! Do you have what it takes to be ROYALTY? Will you rule the school? Find out if you have what it takes today. Homecoming Court applications can picked up from Mrs. Latessa in Room 296. Applications are due to Mrs. Latessa by Tuesday, September 12!
  • Attention all students in grades 9-12...Homecoming 2017 is right around the corner! If you plan to attend the dance on Saturday, September 23, it’s time to get ready. Homecoming Dance contracts will be available in the cafeteria and E-Room from principals and deans. EACH Euclid student must complete their OWN contract and submit it the proper unit office for signatures. Euclid students planning on bringing a guest from another school must have the RIGHT side of their contract COMPLETED before turning it into their unit office. 11th and 12th grade students will turn their completed contracts to Ms. Obradovich’s office in Room 324 and 9th and 10th grade students will turn their completed contracts to Mrs. Hunt in Room 290. You must have an emergency medical form on file for the 2017-2018 school year! Contracts must be completed before purchasing a ticket! Tickets will go on sale on Friday, September 15!
  • Any girl in grades 9-12 that wants to try out this year for basketball please attend the information meeting this Friday September 8th. The meeting will start at 2:30 in the West Gym. Paper work and a schedule of up coming events will be handed out.

09/01/17 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Friday, September 1st.
  • Teachers, please take this time to record your attendance in Infinite Campus. 
  • Per the Euclid Library, students under 18 are not permitted to be in the library without an adult.  All other times, and weekends are accessible.  If students are signed up for an after-school program, or are interested, they can see Mr. Ray at the library for more info.
  • Do you like helping others?  Are you a 9th through 12th grader who has been told you have leadership qualities?  Do you want to make a difference in your school and community?  We are now accepting applications for the Junior and Senior Ambassador program here at EHS.  Applications can be picked up from Ms. Russo in Room 147 or Ms. Davis' office.  Spaces are limited and deadline to submit your application is Friday, September 8, 2017.
  • GSA will meet today in Room 147.  Straight Allies welcome!  Meeting begins at 2:05pm.
  • For all students who are interested in joining the EHS Art Club: Our first meeting will be on TUESDAY, September 5th in room 199 after school. See you there!
  • If you haven't heard the good news, Euclid High School will be presenting The Giver in November. You still have time to get involved. Auditions are this coming Tuesday or Wednesday, 3:30-5:30. All those interested in acting or crew, are invited to attend. Actors should prepare a 1-2 minute monologue to present. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Walsh-Hilf in room 192.
