- Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Monday, January 22nd.
- The results for the latest contest of the Ohio Math League are in. Congratulations to Nate Ahiagbedey and Alex Bowman for both getting the highest score. Alex is also the current leader for the year. Jaime Geiger moved into 6th place on the career list. Luke Johnson, who already has the most career points in Euclid High School history, became the first person to score more than 600 points. Our Euclid team is currently ahead of Beachwood, Beaumont, Bay, Olmsted Falls, Trinity, Chardon, Nordonia, and many other schools around the state. The next contest will be February 13.
- Attention Student Council members! We will have our next meeting on Tuesday, January 23 at 2:20 p.m. in Room 296. We will be discussing the upcoming Blood Drive and our Valentine's Day fundraiser. See you there!

- Today’s class SHOUT out! goes to Mrs. Simmons' 7th period class for their excellent behavior during Friday's fire drill. All students did exactly what they were supposed to, without reminders or direction. Then, after the drill, they got back on track immediately and worked diligently the rest of the class period!
- Culture Club will sponsor a session on Geneology and Discovering your Cultural Roots at Euclid Public Library today. To attend the workshop please meet in Room 147 at 2:30 pm or at the Library at 3 pm. Please join us today!

- Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Friday, January 12th.
- Coach Ingram would like to recognize 8th grade swimmer Arria Ray for scoring the most points in the Wednesday's swim meet at Beachwood. She earned the team 7.5 points. Aria also broke a middle school swim record, swimming the 50 free style in 35.68 seconds. Tobias Moore was the top scoring swimmer for the boys, scoring 8.5 points. Tobias broke two school records swimming the 50 free style in 29.18 seconds and the 100 free style in 1 minute, 17.56 seconds. Congratulations to these top scoring athletes.
- College Now's afterschool College and Career readiness impACT program is now in session. Meetings take place daily, after school, in the Euclid Public Library. If you are interested, see Mrs. Gonakis in room 324 OR register in person today at 2:40 at the library. There are a few spaces for this session remaining. Participation in this program will result in a $100 stipend as well as ACT prep and the opportunity for college and career tours.

- Euclid High School is scheduled to be in session tomorrow, Friday, January 12th, 2018. All official school closing information is communicated through the official Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages of Euclid Schools as well as through Superintendent Smialek's phone calls home.
- A big congratulations to the EHS Swimming team as they competed in the GCC Conference Championship this past weekend. Andrius Kijauskas was conference champion in the 200 IM and the 500 Free. Freshman Na'im Hobson also made his first ever finals appearance in the 200 Free, taking 19th. Congratulatons, panthers!
- Coach James would like to congratulate both 8th grade boys basketball teams for their wins last night in the GCC tournament. Both teams will be back in action today at Garfield Heights Middle School. Euclid Blue will play Solon in the first semifinal game at 4:15 and Euclid Gold will play Shaker Heights in the second semifinal game. Good luck to both teams.
- Euclid High School’s Concert Band will host the annual Dr. Martin Luther King District Celebration Concert tonight at 7:00pm in the Euclid High School Auditorium. The concert will open with a performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and end with Dr. King’s famous speech “I Have A Dream” as the band plays“The Civil War.” A special daytime performance of the concert will be presented this morning during 2nd and 3rd periods in the auditorium.

- There is a menu change for today. The cafeteria will be serving hot and spicy chicken patties, seasoned greens, and chilled pears. Soup of the day is beef vegetable dumpling.
- Educators Rising members stop by after school and see Mrs. Rudder about your competition registration.
- The concert band will rehearse for the Martin Luther King Concert today after school until 3:30. Dress Rehearsal is Wednesday evening from 5-7pm. Attendance is mandatory!
- Baseball will meet today in room 119 at 2:20pm then will go to the weight room.
