Morning Announcements - September 30, 2022

Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Engaged. Today is Thursday, September 29th. 

Yogis, just a reminder that today is Friday! Come to our Yoga Club after school. Let's have a great workout today!

Attention all students!  If you plan to attend the Homecoming dance on Saturday, October 8, it’s time to get ready. Homecoming Dance contracts are now available in all pods, and in each unit office. EACH Euclid student must complete their OWN contract and submit it to their grade level unit office for a principal’s signature.  Contracts must be signed and completed before purchasing a ticket! Tickets are $20 and will go on sale on Monday, October 3 through Thursday, October 5.  No tickets will be sold on Friday, so go get those tickets!

Applications for the Student Advisory Board close TODAY! The advisory board will be working closely with Mr. Russell and Mr. Papouras to advocate for change at EHS. We are looking for people in all grade levels and clubs to help us represent the student body. The application link is available on your Counselor’s Schoology page and in QR code form on flyers around the building.

Students if you are interested in learning more about support groups held during the lunch periods please stop by Room H-115 during lunch period today to speak with Ms. Russo This room is located in the cafeteria.

Last week our seniors were the best with 89.75% attendance. At the end of the month I will be crowning an attendance champion. Right now Mrs. O’s class is leading the way. Show up so we can keep learning every day!

September is Hispanic Heritage Month - The U.S. Hispanic population reached 62.6 million in July 2021, the United States Census Bureau reports. With this most recent data, Hispanic-identifying people make up the nation’s largest racial or ethnic minority at 18.9 percent.

Yogis, just a reminder, to Stay after school for our Yoga class today! From 2:30-3:30pm, at H350 pod, by the Chinese classroom. We have brand new yoga mats, so let's enjoy them!

Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Engaged. Today is Thursday, September 22nd.

Hispanic Heritage Month - This year, the National Council of Hispanic Employment Program Managers (NCHEPM) announced that the Hispanic Heritage Month Observance Theme was "Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation." The 2022 theme "encourages us to ensure that all voices are represented and welcomed to help build stronger communities and a stronger nation," the NCHEPM said in a statement. Ms. Ily Soares, a supervisory accountant at Farm Credit Administration (FCA), submitted the winning theme.

Reminder that the SAVE Environmental Club meets today,  after school in 230 E.  Questions see Ms. Spivey

Good Morning Gamers! Our Chess Club is in full force. We meet as always in Mr Mita's room, 209, at 2:30 today. No gear.  No equipment.  All you need is your mind, body and attention. See you there.

Morning Announcements - September 20, 2022

Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Engaged. Today is Tuesday, September 20th.

Morning Announcements - September 19, 2022

Hey Panthers, there is an Art Club introduction meeting with Mrs. Bauckman Tuesday, September 20th from 2:20-3:00 in H201. It is open to all EHS students who like hanging with other artists and enjoy creating all forms of visual art. We will discuss meeting dates, expectations and possible project ideas. Come see what the Art club is all about.  If you have any questions, stop into room H201 and talk with Mrs. Bauckman. Hope to see you there!!

Sports updates - Tonight Girls Soccer travels to Andrews Osborne for a road game at 4:30.

Our Euclid High School Panther Marching Band competed in the Battle of the Bands held at Berea Bearcat Stadium on Saturday. Our band is the BEST BAND IN THE LAND!!!! We competed against local and out-of-state HBCU bands, and here is a look at what they won Saturday night: First Place Overall, Grand Champions, First Place in their class, First Place Auxiliary, and First Place Drum Major!
Congratulations to the band for their hard work.
