We participate in several competitions throughout the Cleveland area and will compete on the Academic Challenge TV program this year. Our first meeting will be Tuesday September 13th, at 2:30 in Room 337.
- Attention sophomores, juniors, and seniors: class ring orders will be taken today during lunch periods in the E-room. For more information, see the ring display in the cross-corridor senior showcase.
- The marching band and orchestra are hosting a fundraiser to Fun and Stuff in Macedonia on Friday, September 16. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in the band room. Admission includes unlimited laser tag, Putt-Putt golf, go-carts, rock climbing, and much more! The bus will leave at 5:30pm and return at 10pm. All staff and students are invited to attend!
- All Juniors and Seniors starting Wednesday, September 14th we will have colleges coming to visit Euclid HS. Some of the colleges coming in September are Mercyhurst, Kent State on Sept. 14th; Ashland on Sept. 19; and John Carroll on Sept. 20. Please check your Naviance account for the various colleges, their days and times of visit. If you are having trouble viewing your Naviance account please see your Guidance Counselor.
- Also, the Y.O.U Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates program is now accepting students for this school year. The program is looking for 35 students to be in a work readiness program that meets 2 days a week after school. Even if you have other commitments after school, the program can work around your schedule. If you are willing to commit to the program you are guaranteed a Y.O.U summer job. If you are interested or have any questions please see Ms. Robinson in room 345.
- Attention Seniors: if you are planning on studying business, education, athletic training, graphic design, or similar majors, the Cleveland Browns Scholarship is open for applications and is due on October 1st. Please see College Now in Room 289 for more information. If you are planning on going to College next fall and have started thinking about how you are going to pay for it, please see College Now in Room 289 to talk about financial aid and completing the FAFSA, which can be started October 1st.

- Are you interested in helping to design and create the 2016-2017 EHS yearbook? We are looking for creative designers, writers, photographers and business entrepreneurs to be a part of our staff. - CRAVE, Euclid High School's Christian Club wanted to remind you that you are amazing, you deserve the best and that your smile lights up the room. We hope you liked your locker notes! We'd also like to invite any students interested in a time of Bible study, prayer and friendship to join us Wednesdays after school in room 398. We'd love to meet you. Again, CRAVE meets every Wednesday in room 398 after school.

The goal of this program is to help students meet state and local standards in core academic subject areas, specifically mathematics and reading. Each 8-week session includes two ACT practice exam’s, two parent sessions, a parent orientation before session begins and a college and career project. The program is held at 7 different sites, including the Euclid Public Library. If you have any questions about the program please visit us in the College Now office or you can visit our website at “collegenowgc.org/impact-the-216.”Congratulations to the 8th grade Euclid volleyball team who defeated Euclid Gold last night. Amazing serving by Olivia Augustine and clutch serves by Cassandra Johnson, great passing by Tawney Frawn, Ariel Thompson, and Jasmin Shakir. Incredible net play by Katie Stephens. Overall fantastic plays by Lori Way. Everyone worked as a team. Girls, you should be very proud!

- Euclid Police Officers are writing trespassing citations for Euclid residents (children and adults) who cut through the golf course property – at any time of day or night. Do not cut across the golf course, any day or time. Thank you!Math tutoring is available with Mr. Phillips in Room 141 Tuesdays and Wednesdays 2:30 - 3:15. - Today in Volleyball action, the 8th Grade Blue Team plays the 8th Grade Gold Team in the boys gym at 4:15.

Show.Attention all students. Beginning today, the
library is open during lunch periods. To get a lunch pass, stop by the library

- Attention all students. The library will be open during lunch periods beginning MONDAY. Also beginning MONDAY, you can stop by the library before school, after school, or between periods to pick up a lunch pass, which will allow you to get to the library during your lunch period. Do not show up in the library at the beginning of your lunch period to ask for a pass. You will not receive one that way. To receive a pass, you must have your ID with you. This year, a library pass will allow you to arrive at the beginning of the period or to leave the cafeteria as soon as you have finished eating. Also beginning MONDAY, the library will be open from 7:15 to 3:00 every day.

- Good luck to the Euclid Varsity Football team against Glenville, the 8th grade Blue volleyball team as they take on Brunswick, and the Euclid Gold volleyball team as they take on Medina today.
- The Band and Cheerleaders will march through the hallways today during the last 20 mins. of 7th period. Cheerleaders and Band members should exit 7th period at 1:25pm and report to the band room.
- Do you like the outdoors? Going on hikes? Being good to the environment? Then the SAVE Environmental Club is the club for you! Please join us for our first meeting today after school in room 392. See Mr. Young or Mrs. Spivey if you have any questions.
