02/11/19 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Monday, February 11th.
  • Black History fact for today, February 11: On this day in 1990, Nelson Mandela was released from prison in South Africa. His fight against white domination and apartheid led to a conviction and a life sentence handed down in 1964. Despite his conviction, he continued to fight for the rights of all. After his release, he went on to become the President of South Africa in 1994. Nelson Mandela never wavered in his devotion to democracy, equality and learning. Despite terrible provocation, he never answered racism with racism. His life is an inspiration to all who are oppressed and deprived; and to all who are opposed to oppression and deprivation. He died at his home in Johannesburg in December 2013. Today, we salute Mr. Nelson Mandela.
