08/31/17 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Thursday, August 31st
  • Teachers, please take this time to record your attendance in Infinite Campus. 
  • Per the Euclid Library, students under 18 are not permitted to be in the library without an adult.  All other times, and weekends are accessible.  If students are signed up for an after-school program, or are interested, they can see Mr. Ray at the library for more info.
  • Do you like the outdoors? Are you interested in environmental issues?  Do you want to make the world a better place?  If yes, perhaps the SAVE Environmental Club is for you!!  Come join us today for an informational meeting in room 391.  If you have questions, see Mr. Young or Ms. Spivey.
  • Do you want to be a teacher or school guidance counselor?  Then come to the Educators Rising meet today after school in room 231.  This club is for all students interested in a career in the teaching field.
  • Do you like helping others?  Are you a 9th through 12th grader who has been told you have leadership qualities?  Do you want to make a difference in your school and community?  We are now accepting applications for the Junior and Senior Ambassador program here at EHS.  Applications can be picked up from Ms. Russo in Room 147 or Ms. Davis' office.  Spaces are limited and deadline to submit your application is Friday, September 8, 2017.
  • GSA will meet this Friday in Room 147.  Straight Allies welcome!  Meeting begins at 2:05pm.
  • For all students who are interested in joining the EHS Art Club: Our first meeting will be on TUESDAY, September 5th in room 199 after school. See you there!
  • Mrs. Walsh-Hilf is excited to meet you at the auditions for the Fall Play, The Giver.  She welcomes new and seasoned actors and crew members to attend either of the auditions this coming Tuesday or Wednesday from 3:30-5:30.  Come with a 1-2 minute monologue and be ready to have fun and gain experience on the stage.  This is your chance to make your mark.  Come and find out what the theater is all about by auditioning for The Giver next week!  Come see Mrs. Walsh-Hilf in room 192 for questions.
  • 7th/8th grade girls Cross Country meet results: Jada Neal came in 1st place in the 1st Cross Country meet of the season with a time of 14MINUTES 8 SECONDS.  Congratulations Jada!

08/30/17 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Wednesday, August 30th.
  • Teachers, please take this time to record your attendance in Infinite Campus. 
  • You can be a star this Fall in our awesome production.  We are proud to announce auditions for the Fall Play, The Giver.  Auditions will be held this Tuesday or Wednesday for students in 9th-12th grade from 3:30-5:30 in the Little Theater.  We are looking for new and experienced actors and crewmembers to share their talents.  Actors will need to prepare a 1-2 minute monologue to present.  See Mrs. Walsh-Hilf in room 192 for more information.

  • Coach Ingram would like to recognized Varsity Tennis players Aireyanna Sharp and Ameerah Hawthorne for stepping up and playing a doubles match for the first time against Perry High School yesterday.  Though they did not win their match, they won two of their games and demonstrated to their teammates what is meant by being a TEAM PLAYER.  Thanks ladies!

  • The Marching Band will add a Wednesday after school practice to the schedule starting this week. Practice will start at 2pm during IE and end at 3:30pm.

  • Euclid Boys Soccer defeated VASJ by a score 2-1.  Goals scored by Dillan Smith and Mamadou M’Baye.  The team next takes the field in a home match on Tuesday at 7:00pm.

  • The E-room will be available after school for any student with a SIGNED PARENT PERMISSION slip beginning Monday, August 28,2017. The E-room is open Monday through Thursday from 2:30-4:30PM and on Fridays from 2:00-4:00PM. You may pick up a permission slip in the E-room or in the security office this week. Once signed, turn your permission slip in to the security office (room 193) to receive your E-room pass. Your E-room pass must be worn along with your ID to enter the E-room. NO STUDENT will be admitted to the E-room without an E-room pass beginning Monday, August 28th, 2018.

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Wednesday, August 23rd.
  • Teachers, please take this time to record your attendance in Infinite Campus.  Also, today you will pass out student IDs to your SECOND period class.  This is a change from the information in the panther press.  All students should receive their IDs today in their SECOND period class.  Left over IDs should be returned to Mr. Ridgley in the security office by the end of the day today.
  • The E-room will be available after school for any student with a SIGNED PARENT PERMISSION slip beginning Monday, August 28,2017. Counselors will be available during lunch periods ONLY. The requests you can make include: you would like a different elective, you would like to be an office runner or drop lunch to take an extra elective course. Today is the last day to make a Schedule Change Request and you can only do so during lunch periods. You MUST have the blue form filled out completely in order to have your request be considered.
  • It's time to get involved! Student Council's first meeting is TODAY at 2:35 p.m. in Room 296. We will be deciding this year's Homecoming theme during this meeting.  Please see Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 or Mrs. Pollack in Room 263 if you have any questions.
  • Band and Orchestra members are excused for a special performance for all 5th graders in the District this Thursday, Aug 24 during 3rd and 4th periods.

  • A reminder to all staff that the marching band was excused 5th period through IE yesterday for the band photo.
  • Students in grades 9 -12, please listen carefully to the procedure for making a Schedule Change Request. You can make a schedule change request during your lunch period today and tomorrow. In order to do this, you must have the blue Schedule Change Request form filled out and signed by a parent. If you are in grades 10-12, your counselor will be in the E-Room on the carpeted area, if you are in 9th grade, you can see Ms. Hyland in the PAD. Counselors will be available during lunch periods ONLY.   • Calling all Panther Fans!! This Friday, August 25 is the season opener for the football team at 7:00 PM at Glenville. Come to the athletics office Today through Thursday from 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM or Friday from 8:30 AM until 2:30 PM. to get your ticket to the game for $4.00 AND a free Euclid vs. Glenville t-shirt to wear to the game. Student and adult tickets are all $4 for pre-sale and everyone gets a free shirt until supplies run out! You don't want to miss this!
  • All 10th-12th grade football players meet at 2:30pm in little theater for pictures.  Also all 8th and 9th grade football players mandatory study hall in auditorium everyday after school starting at 2:40pm before practice.
  • Coach Ingram would like to give a Shout Out to sophomore girl's tennis player Aireyanna Sharp for her perseverance on the courts last Friday night against North High School. After 2 sets, the score was tied 1 to 1. Aireyanna was up by 3 games until her opponent rallied, defeating her 6 to 4. It was an exciting match to watch. The High School Girls Tennis team will face North High again at home September 14. Please come cheer the team on to victory.

  • Breakfast will be served in the Cafeteria daily. So please join us for a hearty breakfast to start your day.
  • Students in grades 9 -12, please listen carefully to the procedure for making a Schedule Change Request. If you have an IMMEDIATE need, for example: you do not have a lunch, you have a an "empty" period, you are missing a required course OR you are in a course that you already successfully completed. Please see your counselor TODAY or TOMORROW - yellow forms are available in all offices or from your teacher. 9th graders will go Ms. Hyland in room 290. 10th - 12th and Career Tech/CCP students will see their respective counselor in room 230-232. 
  • If you would like to make a change, but it is not an emergency, you will make your request Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of next week during your lunch period. These requests include: you would like a different elective, you would like to be an office runner or you are assigned to a teacher that you previously failed the course with. 9th graders can see Ms. Hyland in the PAD (in the cafeteria) during lunch and 10-12 grades can get in line to see their counselor in the carpeted area of the E-Room. You must have the blue form, signed by a parent, ready to present to your counselor. These forms can be retrieved from room 290 or 230/232 or from your teacher.
  • All new football players in grades 8-12, please meet Coach Rotsky on the soccer practice field at 2:15pm. In addition a doctor will be here today at 5:30pm to give physicals.
  • 8th grade boys and girls interested in running cross country please come after school to Ms.Bowers room 103 to sign up and pick-up paper work. practice will start Monday the 21th. Hope to see you there.
