09/28/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Blue and Gold Friday, September 28h.
  • Today’s class SHOUT! Outs are from Dr. Mines to her 2nd period students for transitioning effortlessly thru the wet and virtual microscope labs on Wednesday and Thursday.  Their maturity and efficiency was really appreciated!  Keep it up!  And from Mr. Mita to his 4th period students for being Prompt, Prepared and Polite as they Responsibly completed their assignments. Carry On.
  • Chinese Club wants to thank Mrs. Scott, Ms. Hunt, and Mrs. Rudder for taking us to the movie "Crazy Rich Asians" this week! The movie was great! And it showed a lot of Chinese culture in relations with American culture. Thank you chaperone teachers for the great time!
  • Congratulations to the TWINNERS of Twin Day yesterday: Makaila Still, Anthony Wade, Mamadou Yansane, Jordan Brown, and Anthony McRae. Stop down to Room 196 after morning announcements to pick up your prize!   • All students who are interested in joining the bowling team should meet Coach Pickens in room 119 for an informational meeting after school on Monday, October 1.
  • The National Honor Society will have a meeting on Tuesday October 2 at 2:20 in room 342. See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • The marching band will hold a mandatory meeting for all students and parents Wed. Oct. 3 at 7pm in the band room. We will discuss our overnight trip to Central State University near Dayton Ohio to perform in their homecoming parade. We will depart from the Brunswick game Friday Oct. 12 and return Sat. Oct. 13. Total cost for the tip is $40 and is due on Oct. 3.
  • Attention 8th graders interested in trying out for the Middle School Swim team: There will be a signup sheet outside of Mrs. Kaiser's room, Room 190. You will need a physical before tryouts on November 1st and 2nd.
  • Attention all student interested in attending the HBCU college tour: Please return your interest/permission forms to Dr. Mines ASAP!!!! No money is due yet, but the forms are needed. IF you have questions or need a form, stop by 371.

  • Now for your Homecoming Update!  
    • Today is the last day to vote for Homecoming Court!  Students can access the voting link on the homepage, when logging into Chromebooks, or through the URL ehs2017.electionrunner.com.  Students can also vote from their phones!  Student voter ID numbers are the same as the Infinite Campus user ID numbers.  The election key is euclid2018 (all lowercase).  Remember you can only vote once! The winners of our 2018 Homecoming Court will be announced at halftime of Friday night's football game against Strongsville.
    • Spirit Week is underway!  Congratulations to Wednesday's Mismatch Spirit Week winners: Daevon Sharpley, Doug Habian, Rahjanae Johnson, and Jan Robinson. Please stop in Room 296 after announcements to pick up your prize!   • Congratulations to the 8th grade Blue volleyball team for their big conference win over Garfield Heights High School on Tuesday.

  • Now for your Homecoming Update!

  • Today’s SHOUT! Out is from Mrs. Norton to William Phillpot. Last week, just prior to Open House, a mother with a newborn baby in her car was having car trouble. She was stalled in the middle of the road and William came to her rescue. He pushed her car out of the way so as to allow traffic to continue moving. He offered to help her in any way that she needed. She was able to get her car moving and continue on with her day. William Phillpot embodies Euclid High School's focus on Respect, Responsibility, and Integrity; he was respectful to our community members, was responsible and helped when help was needed, and he did this simply because it was the right this to do. Thank you William Phillpot, you make us Panther Proud!

09/10/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, September 10th.
  • Attention all students who have signed up or are interested in joining sports management club. There will be a group meeting in the athletics office today after school. We will start the meeting at 2:30 PM. If you have any questions prior to the meeting please see Lauren Butler in the athletics office.
  • All returning boys basketball players please meet in Room 227 immediately after school today. We will meet for about five minutes to discuss fall conditioning.
  • There will be a Student Council meeting on Tuesday, September 11 at 2:20 p.m. in Room 296. We will continue our planning for Homecoming and Spirit Week. If you are still interested in being a part of Student Council, come to this week's meeting. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Latessa or Mrs. Pollack.
  • Attention Seniors! The first Senior Class cabinet meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 12 at 2:20 p.m. in Room 296. If you are interested in planning Senior Class activities and prom, now is the time to get involved! If you can't make the meeting or have questions, please see Mrs. Latessa.
  • Attention all EHS students! CRAVE, Euclid High School's student led Christian Club would like to invite you to meet with us every Wednesday in room 396 at 2:20. We will have time for Bible study, prayer and fellowship. Light refreshments will be served. We hope to see you there.
  • The Swim team info meeting has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, Sept 12th. If you’re interested in the Swim Team, join Coach Steve for a short informational meeting right after school in the competition pool. If you don't know how to swim don't worry! Euclid High School is offering free swim lessons during the month of October to get you ready for the team! Find out more this coming Wednesday, September 12th at 2:30 in the competition pool.
  • Attention all students: Publishing club will be meeting this week on Thursday after school. If you are interested in yearbook, newspaper, design, writing or photography, come to room 298 on Thursday at 2:30pm. 8th through 12th grade students are welcome!
  • Attention all EHS females, The L.E.A.D. Scholars are now accepting applications for the 2018-19 school year. If you have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, are a dedicated team player, have fewer than 2 behavior referrals and looking to make connections within the school and community, please stop by room 371 or 317 for more information and to grab an application. We are accepting applications for all grades (8-12) until September 13th.
  • This year's Battle Of The Bands is moving from Shaw High School to our very own state of the art Euclid Community Stadium. Battle of the Bands is Saturday Sept. 15 starting at 6pm.   • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Friday, September 7th.
  • Lady Panther Varsity Tennis Coach Ingram Would like to congratulate First Singles Varsity Tennis player Aireyanna Sharp for defeating her South High School opponent by a score of 6-2, 6-0. It was an exciting match to watch. Congratulations Aireyanna.  Coach Ingram would also like to thank Athletic Director Victoria Jones and High School teacher Ron Zucca who attended the match against South High School yesterday.  Thanks for your support.
  • Presale tickets for the Euclid vs. St. Ignatius game will be available on today in the athletics office until 2:30 PM. Student presale tickets are $4.00 and adult tickets are $6.00. All tickets are $6.00 at the gate. This Friday night's game is a black out, so come dressed in all black and ready to cheer your Panthers onto a victory of St. Ignatius.  Also, A reminder to all 7th period teachers that the band and cheerleaders will be marching through the hallways 7th period today!Go Panthers! Beat Ignatius!

  • Today’s Class SHOUT Outs! are from Mrs. Simmons' to her 1st period class for working incredibly hard during class on Friday. They got all of their work done, and then seamlessly went right to follow-up assignments, or read silently. Way to make it a great Friday!  And from Ms. Garvey to her 6th period class for their spirited read-aloud techniques and phenomenal work ethics!
  • Congratulations to the top Membean students on Team Jaguar: Franjo Wilson and Xavier Callahan. Keep up the great work!
  • Hello and Welcome Back! Chess Club doesn't take heat days off. The games go on. We'll meet in room 393 at 2:30 today. See you there.
