Morning Announcements - October 31, 2022

Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Engaged. Today is Monday, October 31st 2022.

Halloween: Today is Halloween. I hope everyone is in a festive mood. Though we can have fun, remember that this is an academic environment where we are here to engage in the learning process.

The R Factor - Remember, E+R=O means Event + Response = Outcomes. Know this. You have the power to influence situations and circumstances, but you do not control them. There will always be things outside of your control that you will have to deal with both good and bad. Tomorrow's events are created by today's outcomes; if you want better events in the future, you must start producing better outcomes today. To get great outcomes you need to have great responses.

The second quarter final round of "Locotubre" today brings us the head to head face off for the 80s. Gipsy Kings' "Bamboleo" vs. Luis Miguel's "Ahora te Puedes Marchar." Scan the QR codes to hear the songs and vote today in Pod 350!

Attention swimmers. The informational meeting is today, Monday, October 31st at 3:00 in the Little Theater for anyone interested in joining the swim team. If you have any questions please contact Coach Ingram through the athletic department.

Attention those interested in joining the Famous Pantherettes, Pantherette Clinics start on November 1st through 3rd from 3-6 in the East gym and auditions are November 4th at 4pm in the East gym

Remember, you do not control the Events, or the outcomes, but you do control your responses. By making great choices you will make it a great day today at The Euclid High School.

Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Engaged. Today is Friday, October 28th 2022.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month  - October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. The focus of Breast Cancer Awareness month this year is on finding cancer early, when it's easiest to treat.

The R Factor - E+R=O means Event plus response equals outcomes. What does that mean? Let’s break it down. The O stands for outcomes, or the things you want. Like graduating from High School. Getting a shoe game as nice as mine, or winning the attendance title from Mrs. O. The R stands for Response or the WORK that goes into getting the things you want. The E stands for the situations you face throughout your life that you respond to, in order to get the things you want. Great Outcomes take a lot of work. You’ll have to work hard in order to get the things you want.

Euclid Yogis, Just a reminder, I will see you all on the mats! Let's open our minds, strengthen our cores, and spread the joy of yoga! See you today after school!

Morning Announcements - October 26, 2022

Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Engaged. Today is Wednesday, October 26th 2022.

What are Events? Events are every situation that you are involved in during the day. Waking up is an event, how do you respond to your alarm in the morning? Getting to school is an event, sitting right now listening to the announcements is an event. You have the ability to choose your response to each of these events. Outcomes are the results of your response to the events you encounter during a day. The key to producing outcomes are not the events or circumstances you face. Your outcomes depend on how you choose to respond. Success is not about the event. It’s about your response. This school year we are going to learn about the R-Factor and how we can choose responses that will help us earn amazing outcomes

Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Engaged. Today is Tuesday, October 25th 2022.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month  - October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. Organizations all over the country wear pink to raise awareness for breast cancer. In support of the national Breast Cancer Awareness Month October 2022 observance, the CDC Division of Cancer Prevention and Control will focus messaging and activities on finding cancer early, when it's easiest to treat

The R Factor - How do we navigate the events of life, work, or school in a way that produces the best results? Learning how to manage our response to the daily situations we face will give us the power to overcome challenges that arise. It starts with a simple equation. E+R=O which means, Event plus Response equals Outcome. Every day you make decisions about how to responde to the situations in your life and this simple equation helps you become more intentional about th way you make decisions and take control of your life.

Attendance - We need you to stay in the game! Staying in the game means coming to school. Overall for the month of September 85.76% of EHS students were present in attendance, and Seniors lead the way with 89.31% of them present in school. That means Mrs. O and the class of 2023 are our Attendance Champions for the month of September!!! The Top Attendees will get a chance to take a picture with the Attendance Title this week. If you want to take a picture with the belt, compete and get to school. Ms. Clemmons, Mrs. Platko, Mr. Walker challenge Ms. O and the class of 2023 for the Attendance Title!  This month I am setting a schoolwide goal of 87%. Students let your assistant principal know some fun things you would be interested in when we reach our goal.
