11/30/16 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Wednesday, November 30th.
Meetings:
  • Attention all students interested in Big Show Cast, Crew, or Orchestra.  There will be a short informational meeting today in the choir room from 2:30-3:00pm.  This is meeting is mandatory so please plan accordingly.  See Mrs. Ross in the choir room with any questions.
  • There is a meeting after school today at 2:45 in cafeteria for all players 8th through 11th grade interested in playing football
  • Culture Club will meet briefly in the EHS library at 2:30 pm today.
  • There will be a Stand Up committee and Senior Ambassador meeting on Thursday in room 263 at 2:40pm. Hope to see you there!
  • Foreign Language Club is having B-week Bakery.  Come to the E-Room hall on Thursday from 2:30 to 3:00 for home baked goods, chips and other snacks.  ALL snacks are fifty cents and one dollar.

  • The Lake Shore Compact would like to invite sophomore students and their families to our Career Technical Education Expo at Mentor High School on December 1, 2016 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center.  This Expo is designed to provide all 10th grade students and their families more information about the 23 programs that we offer.  Both instructors and current career tech students will be here to discuss their program and answer any questions that you may have.  The primary objective for each program is to prepare students to enter a four or two year college, a technical school or the career of their choosing.  Visit www.LakeShoreCompact.org for a list of programs.  Remember: YOUR FUTURE STARTS NOW!
  • Euclid High School’s Symphonic Orchestra and Choirs will present their annual Holiday Concert on Wed. Dec. 7 at 7:00pm in the Euclid High School Auditorium.  Admission is $3.00.  The Orchestra will present a sneak preview of the Holiday Concert during 1st period on Wed. Dec. 7 in the auditorium.  All 1st period teachers are invited to attend!
  • Are you a senior athlete planning on playing your sport in college?  Have you registered with the NCAA or taken your ACT or SAT?  If not, College Now can help!  Please see us in Room 147 for more information.
  • impACT the 216 is an 8-week, tri-annual program that focuses on ACT preparation and college and career readiness.  The goal of the program is to help students meet state and local standards in core academic subject areas, specifically mathematics and reading.  Also we offer bus tickets, daily lunches and field trips.  Upon program completion, students are eligible for a $100 dollar stipend, college tours and an internship opportunity. 11/29/16 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Tuesday, November 29th.
  • The 8th grade swim team beat Bedford 117 to 70.  The top team scorers were: Sydney Adkins and Shawn Mason, both with 14 points.  The next top scorers were Christina Saterides, Melissa Maina and Rolland Miller each with 11 points.  Congratulations swim team. Our next meet against Bedford is at home on December 7.  Come watch the excitement.
  • Foreign Language Club is having B-week Bakery.  Come to the E-Room hall on Thursday from 2:30 to 3:00 for home baked goods, chips and other snacks.  ALL snacks are fifty cents and one dollar.

  • Are you thinking about becoming a teacher?  Come to the Educators Rising meeting after school today in room 231.  Please plan to attend and help plan our events for this school year!

  • There is baseball conditioning today for grades 8-12 from 3:45-4:45. Athletes should meet by the weight room.

11/21/16 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Monday, November 21st. 
  • Tomorrow the Culture Club is sponsoring a HAT DAY fundraiser for the Lymphoma /Leukemia Society.  You may wear a school appropriate hat on Tuesday if you pay one dollar to your first period teacher.  You will get a sticker showing you contributed.  Those without a sticker cannot participate.  All first period teachers will be given some stickers for Tuesday.  Please support this great cause by donating this Tuesday!
  • The results from the November Ohio Math League contest are in.  Congratulations to Luke Johnson for coming in first.  Luke is now in second place for the year so far.  Connor Hoffman was second, but he is still in first for the year.  Kennedy Johnson was third, Jaime Geiger was forth, and Hope Mocadlo was fifth.  Jeremy Morton was again the highest finishing 10th grader.
Meetings:
  • Good morning Foreign Language Club.  The frozen food fundraiser food is being delivered today at 2:00.  Please meet at room 229 to pick up your box.  Be sure to wear your coat because we will be outside.  Thank you for your support.
  • A reminder to all orchestra and band members : We will rehearse HallelujahChorus in the band room today after school until 2:30pm.

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Wednesday, November 16th.

  • Attention Students and Staff : tomorrow is National Children's Grief Awareness Day and we are asking you to support all of our EHS school community that have suffered any type of loss.  On Thursday, we are asking students and staff to wear royal blue or a T-shirt of remembrance to honor the memory of those who have died.  There will be optional activities during lunch periods that encourage support and healing.  There will also be Hospice speakers in the Little Theater at 2pm, for those not in I/E , to provide additional resources.  Teen Peer support will also be in the PAD as well.  If you have any questions see Ms. Russo or Ms. Davis.
  • The November issue of the Survey is here!  If you did not receive a copy of EHS' student composed newspaper in homeroom, head to the Media Center for an extra copy.  If you are interested in becoming part of the club, join us on Tuesdays after Thanksgiving Break in room 298.

  • Please come out and support our Lady Panther Girls Basketball team today at their scrimmage at 5:30pm in the East Gym and help us raise money for Down Designs Dreams.  The cost of the scrimmage is $2 for adults and $1 for students.  All money raised with be donated to help special needs students in our district.  Thanks for your support.

  • Congratulations to the NJROTC who won 3 team trophies, 1 team medal and 8 individual medals at a Drill, Academic and Air Rifle Competition this past Saturday in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania!  Commander and Sergeant Major are very proud of you! Hard work and determination does pay off! OOO-RAAH.

  • Attention Students and Staff : Thursday November 17th is National Children's Grief Awareness Day and we are asking you to support all of our EHS school community that have suffered any type of loss.  On Thursday, we are asking students and staff to wear royal blue or a T-shirt of remembrance to honor the memory of those who have died.  There will be optional activities during lunch periods that encourage support and healing.  There will also be Hospice speakers in the Little Theater at 2pm, for those not in I/E , to provide additional resources.  Teen Peer support will also be in the PAD as well.  If you have any questions see Ms Russo or Ms. Davis.

11/11/16 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Veteran’s Day, Friday, November 11th.
  • Congratulations to the Academic Challenge Team members Vinicius Clinton, Ronchelle Marshall and Jourdan Richardson. They competed on the Acadeic Challenge TV show this Wednesday evening. Each team member honorably represented Euclid High School and we should be very proud of these fine scholars. The show will air on Channel 5 in February.
Meetings This Week:
  • If you are a 9th grade girl and you missed the Girls Indoor Track Meeting come see Coach Nosse in the Boys gym to get the paperwork any time throughout the day.
  • A reminder that the first day of practice for 9th-12th grade wrestling is today at 2:15pm.

11/07/16 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Wednesday, November 9th
  • Congratulations Olivia Augustine, Kaylen Bannerman, Tah’Nyiah Froom, Emily Orazen and Katie Stephens on being chosen to perform in the Bowling Green State University Middle School Honors Band.  Young musicians were chosen from all the state to participate in this annual event.  These 8th grade students will travel to BGSU tomorrow morning, rehearse with university conductors throughout the day and then perform in a concert that evening.  Bravo, ladies!
Meetings This Week:
  • Baseball strength and conditioning will be from 6:15- 7:00am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Meet at the side doors by the pools, closest to the Fordyce building.
  • A reminder that 9th-12th grade wrestling conditioning is Wednesday, after IE.  Friday, at 2:15pm is the first day of practice.
  • Attention sophomores, juniors, and seniors! Class rings will be delivered, a ring service call will be made, and ring orders will be taken on Thursday, November 10th from 7:15am until 8:00am in the E-room. A deposit is required when placing a new ring order.

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Monday, November 7th   
Meetings This Week:
  • Attention all Marching Band Members: Congratulations on an outstanding marching band season!  Concert Band begins today.  Please remain in the cafeteria through 6th period and report to the band room at the start of 7th period.  Dance Team members will report to 7th period study hall starting Wednesday.
  • If you missed the girls indoor track meeting please see coach Nosse in the boys gym for paperwork.
  • Football is having a mandatory meeting in the cafeteria at 2:45pm today to return equipment. Baseball strength and conditioning will meet at 6:45am tomorrow morning at the pool doors by the girls’ gym. Also anyone interested in playing baseball must attend our mandatory fundraiser tomorrow night.  Please report to the High School back doors by 5:00pm on Tuesday.

  • Any 8th grade girl interested in being a part of Euclid girls' basketball come meet coach Bowers and Bell in the lady's gym after school at 2:30, no experience required.  Let's have fun!
  • Seniors!  On November 16th, 14 College Representatives will be here for College Application Day!  You will have the opportunity to submit an application, and get an admission decision on the same day! 
  • All boys’ soccer players please return your uniforms to Coach Selvaggio in room 176, across from the E-room, by this Monday.
