09/21/15 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Monday, September 21st.
  • The Art Club, Culture Club and Mediators are celebrating the International Day of Peace today by creating a Post-It for Peace Mural in the E-Room during lunch periods. All students are encouraged to participate. All you have to do is draw or write something on a Post-It that expresses a message of Peace - and we will do the rest - look for the table in the E-Room today! We will provide the Post-Its and the markers. Even the smallest acts of peace are steps towards a more peaceful world!
  • Juniors and Seniors...your time to be royal has arrived!  Homecoming Court Applications are available in the library for qualified juniors and seniors.  Please read through the requirements on the front page before completing an application.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Latessa in Room 296.  Applications for Homecoming Court are due to Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 by Thursday, September 24 at 2:30 p.m.
  • Sun, Palm Trees and a Beach. Yes! Spanish club is sponsoring a trip to Puerto Rico. If you are interested in going, get your parents and come to the meeting on Wednesday, September 23 at 6:30 in the Little Theater. You parent must come with you. Hope to see you there.
  • The PSAT will be given here at Euclid High School on Wednesday, October 14th starting at 7:30am. All Juniors interested in taking the test must register with Mrs. Payne in the Guidance Dept. The cost for the PSAT is $20.00. Registrations will be accepted from September 18th thru October 9th before school, during 4th period, 6th period and afterschool 2:00pm - 3:00pm.
  • There will be an informational meeting for the fall play after school Tuesday, Sept 22. Meet in front of the little theater. The play, audition requirements, and rehearsal requirements will be discussed at this meeting.
  • Join Academic Challenge! If you enjoy knowing fun facts and unusual trivia, playing Trivia Crack or watching Jeopardy then the Academic Challenge Team may be right for you. First Meeting: Tuesday September 22nd in Room 337 starting at 2:40pm. Snacks will be provided!
  • Hola, Spanish Club will meet on Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30 in room 229.
  • Attention all students and staff! CRAVE, Euclid's Christian club invites you to join us for our 2015 kick off event: See You At The Pole! We will meet at the flagpole at 7am this Wednesday to pray for our school, our city and each other. Don't miss this powerful event where we can all be UNITED together in prayer! See you there!
  • Shake off the winter blues with a trip to Puerto Rico. Spanish Club is sponsoring a trip to Puerto Rico during Spring Break of 2016. Interested? Then bring your parents to the informational meeting on Wednesday, September 23 at 6:30 in the Little Theater. Parents must attend.
  • Girls Basketball Conditioning & Open Gym is Monday through Thursday from 6-8 pm. You must have a physical in order to participate. See Coach Phillips room 323.
  • Attention Juniors and Seniors: There are several college visits next week:  Thursday, September 24, Walsh University will be visiting and Lakeland Community College will be here on Friday, September 25. Please use your Naviance account to register. 
  • Menu change:  the lunch menu for today, September 21st, has been changed to Pepperoni /Cheese Calzone, Fresh Romaine Garden salad, Peach cup and Soup of the day Pasta Fagioli. Please plan accordingly.
