11/18/15 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Wednesday, November 18th.
  • Just a reminder that IE today is for 6th period.  IE is mandatory unless you have an excuse from your teacher.
  • Saturday’s football game verses St. Edward is in the running to be the Brown's Game of the Week!  To cast you vote for Euclid High School go to clevelandbrowns.com.  Support our Panthers!
  • There is a lunch menu change this week due to the field trip on Friday.  We will be having Grilled Cheese on Thursday, and Chicken with a twist on Friday.  Please plan accordingly.
  • The results from the November Ohio Math League Contest are in. Congratulations to Jessica Lisy for getting the highest score. Luke Johnson was second and Kennedy Johnson was third. For the year Luke Johnson is first, Kennedy Johnson is second, and Jayne D'Arcy is third. The next contest will be December 8.
  • A role has opened up in fall play and is now available.  Those who are SERIOUSLY INTERESTED should come down to the little theater after school to speak with the director.  Again, serious inquiries only.  We are also looking for additional crew members.  If interested please come after school to the little theater as well.  Lastly, fall play will resume their after school bake sale along with a 50/50 raffle contest that will run from now until December 4. Tickets can be bought at the same table as the bake sale and the winner will be announced at the December 10th performance.
  • There will be a Student Council meeting today, at 2:35 p.m. in Room 296. See you there!
  • Attention Art Club Members.  We will have a meeting after school today in room 199.  Hope to see you there!
  • Attention all students interested in Big Show Cast, Crew, or Orchestra.  It is time to start our show!  This year Euclid High School will be presenting "West Side Story."  There will an informational meeting on Wednesday November 18, 2015 from 2:30-3:15pm in the choir room.  In this meeting we will sign students up for crew and orchestra and discuss the audition process for this year's show.  Attendance at this meeting is extremely important.  Please make your plans to be there.  See Mrs. Ross in the choir room with any questions.  We look forward to seeing you on the 18th!
  • Any Girls or Boys Soccer Player that did not receive their sports fall sports pictures you may pick them in the athletic office.
  • Hey all you Mediators!  Make sure you come to our meeting after school on Thursday.  We will be taking our yearbook picture, signing up for our Field Trip and finding out about our Chipotle Night Fundraiser.  Meet us in the Panther Den at 2:30 on Thursday.
  • Attention Key Club Members: Please plan on attending our meeting on Thursday November 19th at 2:45 in room 121.  The field trip will immediately follow the meeting.  Please see Ms Rosati if you have any questions.
  • Attention Students: Are you concerned about someone you love or care about using drugs or alcohol?  Join us for new Alateen meeting starting Tuesday November 24th during I/E time (2pm) Room 209.  See Mr. Fletcher or Ms. Russo for any questions.
  • The next GSA meeting will be December 4th, at 2pm in Room 209.
  • The Varsity Chorale Competition Show Choir needs your support!!!  On Friday December 18th VC will be hosting the 2nd Annual Varsity Chorale Benefit Concert at 7:00pm in the EHS Auditorium. We are looking for as many friends and staff members to come to this performance as possible to support us as we prepare for our 2016 Competition Season!!  Presale tickets are $10 and the cost at the door is $12.  You can purchase presale tickets from any Varsity Chorale member, Mrs. Ross or Mr. Thorndike.  Please see Mrs. Ross in the choir room with any questions.
  • Attention Sophomores.  Are you interested in one of the career tech programs you learned about in your English classes?  If so, don’t delay.  Complete a program application today online at LakeShoreCompact.com.  If you complete your application before December 18th, you are guaranteed an interview, so get yours done today.  See your guidance counselor if you need assistance.
