10/24/16 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Monday, October 24th.
  • Attention All Students!  This week is “SPIRIT” week.  Teachers, please pass out PRIDE tickets to those students who are dressed to match the today’s theme – Book Character Day.  Tomorrow is Disney Day.  Be sure to dress as your favorite Disney character.  For more information about “SPIRIT” week, see the posters displayed around the school.
  • The library will be closed this week due to testing. Media assistants and senior study hall students who are on the roster should report to room 295.
  • The results from the first Ohio Math League contest are in.  Congratulations to Connor Hoffman for getting the highest score.  Jessica Lisy placed second.  Peter Powell placed third and was the highest scoring junior.  Jeremy Morton was the highest scoring sophomore.  Thanks to everyone that participated.
  • There will be an informational meeting on Friday, Oct. 28th at 2:00pm in room 107, for all those interested in joining the Wrestling team this season.  This is for those in 9th-12th grade.
Meetings This Week:
  • Are you our type?  Help us find out!  EHS Student Council's Blood Drive is on Tuesday, October 25.  Students sixteen years of age and older are eligible to donate.  Student Council representatives will be in the E-Room today during 4th, 5th, and 6th periods to help sign you up for a spot.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 or Mrs. Pollack in Room 263.  Save a life. Sign up to DONATE!
  • The band and orchestra will host the 6th Annual Pasta Dinner on Wednesday, Oct. 26, before the indoor marching band concert from 4:30-6:30pm in the E-Room.  Advance sale tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students.  Tickets at the door are $8 for students and $10 for adults.  The marching band will present their indoor marching band concert in the east gym at 7pm following the pasta dinner!  Admission is $3.
  • Girls's Basketball Try-Outs will be this Friday and Saturday.  Any Girl Interested in trying out for basketball please report to the west gym on Friday by 2:15.  Please pick up schedule and paper work at open gym this week which will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday immediately following IE.  See coach Bowers in room 103 with questions.
  • Attention Sophomores!  Applications for the Career Tech programs will be open on November 1st.  Come to Room 232 for details.
