02/12/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, February 12th.  I’m (Name), I’m (A2) and I’m (A3).  Welcome to the Morning Show.
  • “A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees.”  This quote from Amelia Earhart helps kicks off Kindness Week, part of the Fit In February initiative.   Hosted by the L.E.A.D Scholars, Kindness Week focuses on mental, physical, and emotional wellness. The Scholars, in partnership with the CRAVE Christian Club, got things started with the positive notes found on the lockers today. They are challenging all teachers, students, and staff to do something nice for someone this week. Consider writing a note, holding a door, lending a helping hand, or giving a small gift to someone that might need a pick-me-up or just to show your appreciation. If you receive an act of kindness, be sure to pass one on. This is a short week, so lets make everyday count.
  • The tickets for Confucius Institute's Chinese New Year are here! If you registered for the Feb. 24 event at CSU, please come to Chinese classroom 226 to get your tickets. That is the Saturday event, not the Chinese New Year at Euclid. For our Euclid Chinese New Year on February 22 in the E-room, register with the Chinese teacher Miss Wang soon! The first 50 tickets are free! That's right, the first 50 dinner tickets are given away for free.
  • Ms. Henry would like to shout out to the top performing 8th graders in Membean on Team Jaguar.  Congrats to Trevionte Rembert, Zach Hillard, Tiara Davis, Nijah Gayle, Khalil Lewis, Mike Adams, Janya Parrish, and Abreanah Peters.  Not only did these students get their 45 minutes last week, their accuracy rate was also exceptional!  Great job Jaguars!  Keep up the good work!
  • Congratulations to Mrs. Walsh-Hilf's High Membean Achievers last week!  Jamail Spivey, Erin Miller, Layvielle Johnson, LaShae Bacon, Jordan Cannon, Jaylon Hicks.  Great job!  Keep up the great work.
