Russell - The R-Factor - Mental state affects physical performance. Getting your mind right means managing two things: What you focus on - not everything deserves your attention. Shift your attention to what matters most, family, your character, and doing your best in school
How to talk to yourself - What does the voice inside your head say when things are going well, or not so well? Replace low performance self talk with high performance self talk. Instead of saying this is too hard, or I can’t do this, say, this is tough but I’m going to get it, or I don’t have it yet, but I will.
SENIORS - College Application Day is this Friday! If you are participating, make sure you have submitted your applications, as well as the Transcript Request Google Form. Only students who submit the form will be invited to attend! Remember - if you have already been accepted to a college/university (even if it is not one of the schools coming on Friday) - please submit the form so that you can come too! The Transcript Request Form will close at 11:59pm on Tuesday December 6th. Invitations to attend will be delivered on Friday morning during 1st period. Questions? see Mrs. Gonakis.

State testing: Today students are taking biology. Tomorrow is geometry and algebra. The rest of the week is algebra, algebra and algebra. Check out the bulletin board in the cafeteria and your Infinite Campus messages or emails for reminders. On your test day, report to the North wing lobby by the gym. Please check in for attendance. Do not go to the testing room without checking in for attendance first. Stuff happens, and rooms may change. Wear your ID and bring your charged chromebook.
Panther of the Week - 11th grader Aaryn Way. According to Ms. Simmons and Mr. Brown, Aaryn is a responsible student who has an amazing work ethic. She is constantly engaged during instruction and takes responsibility for making sure her assignments are completed every day. Congratulations Aaryn for being our Panther of the Week. Please come to room H382B for your prize!
Staff Member of the week - Allison Luksic - according to many students: she is always willing to help, she is very hardworking, she always makes sure that students turn in their work, when you don’t understand something she makes sure to help you, she is the best math teacher, and she treats all of her students like they are her own kids. Congratulations Ms. Luksic for being staff member of the week! Please come to room H382B for your prize!
