01/12/16 Announcements

• Good morning Euclid High School, where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Tuesday, January 12^th.  
• Just a reminder that IE today is for 5^th period.
• Attention Yearbook Staff: There will be no meeting today after school. See you for our first second semester meeting Jan. 19th!
• Educator's Rising is meeting today after school at 2:35 in Room 249.  See Mrs. Wright for details. We look forward to seeing you there.
• Attention Juniors: the next meeting of the Junior class will be today @ 2:30 in room 201.  All Juniors are welcome.
• The next Ohio Math League contest will be today after school during IE and after school in room 130.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
• Attention Key Club Members: Happy New Year!  We will have our first meeting of the New Year this Thursday, January 14^th, in room 121 at 2:45.  We will be talking about upcoming events and more volunteering opportunities.  See you there.
• The SAVE environmental club will have a meeting this Thursday, January 14th, after school in room 391. We will discuss possible winter activities, so bring your great ideas! See Mr. Young or Mrs. Spivey if you have any questions.
• The EHS Concert Band is hosting the annual Dr. Martin Luther King District Celebration Concert Thur. Jan. 14 at 7:00pm in the Euclid High School Auditorium.  The concert will open with a performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and end with Dr. King’s final speech “I’ve Been to The Mountaintop” as the band plays “The Civil War.”  All band members are required to attend dress rehearsal Wed. January 13 from 5 until 7pm. Admission to the Concert is FREE!
• Attention all Juniors and Seniors.  Are you trying to figure out your college financial aide paper work or are you thinking of joining the Military and obtaining a GI Bill?  If so, please join us on Thursday, January 14th at 7:00pm in the Little Theater.  Guest speakers will include a financial aide counselor and representatives from College Now of Greater Cleveland and the Armed Forces.  Hope to see you there.
• The EHS PTA is sponsoring a Winter Bash on Saturday, January 16th, from 8pm to 11pm.  Tickets are available today and tomorrow for $10.
