01/14/16 Announcements

  • Just a reminder that IE today is for 7th period.
  • Attention Key Club Members:  We will have our first meeting of the New Year today in room 121 at 2:45.  We will be talking about upcoming events and more volunteering opportunities.  See you there.
  • The SAVE environmental club will meet today after school in room 391.  We will discuss possible winter activities, so bring your great ideas!  See Mr. Young or Mrs. Spivey if you have any questions.
  • Attention all Seniors!  There will be an important class meeting today at 2:30 p.m. in Room 296.  We still have some final decisions to make!  Stop by Mrs. Latessa's room with any questions. See you There!
  • Attention all boys track team members. Meet at 2:45 in the Indoor Track for the meet today.  We will be competing at Spire Tonight in Geneva.  Be on time.
  • Euclid High School’s Concert Band will host the annual Dr. Martin Luther King District Celebration Concert tonight in the Euclid High School Auditorium.  The concert will open with a performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and end with Dr. King’s final speech “I’ve Been to The Mountaintop” as the band plays“The Civil War.”  Morning Assemblies will be presented this morning during 2nd and 3rd periods.
  • Attention all Juniors and Seniors.  Please join us for the college financial aide presentation tonight at 7:00pm in the Little Theater.  Guest speakers will include a financial aide counselor and representatives from College Now of Greater Cleveland and the Armed Forces.
  • The EHS PTA is sponsoring a Winter Bash on Saturday, January 16th, from 8pm to 11pm.  The last day to purchase tickets is today.  The cost is $10.
  • The Boys Indoor Track Team started the season off last Sunday at Marietta College.  Top performances were turned in with 3 first place finishes in the following relays:  The 4x8 relay team of Melvin Lyons, Kameron Shelton, Dequan Williams And Darien Sanders.  The 4x4 relay team of Ron Lee, Brian Tillman, Dequan Williams And Melvin Lyons.  And the 4x2 relay team of Ronald Lee, Brian Tillman, Melvin Lyons And Hoover White who recorded the 3rd fastest time in the state and 15th fastest time in the USA. Other Notable Performances included:  Cornal Gibson 2nd in the shot put, and Darien Sanders 3rd place in the triple jump.
