04/04/16 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Monday, April 4th
  • Congratulations to the Lady Panthers Track Team who competed Saturday at the Collonwood Invitational.  Although the weather was not that good many of the performances in the meet were.  Some of the top performances put in were Deja Bruce 2nd Place in the Long Jump with a leap of 16 feet 1 inch,  Bryanna Williams 5th place in the Long Jump at 15 feet 5 inches,  Jordan Hughes 5th place in the foot Pole Vault at 7 feet,  Caisja Chandler 12.11 in the 100 Meter Dash,  Celina Vuyancih 2:38 in the 800 Meter Run,  Chalara Sutton 26.63 in the 200 Meter Dash and Arlesia Alexander 27.07 in the 200 Meter Dash.  The 4 x 200 and 4 x 100 sprint relay teams consisting of Jernigan, Sutton, Bruce and Chandler placed 1st.  The times run were some of the fastest so far in the state.  Both the boys and girls teams run this Wednesday at Medina.
  • You tired of it? I mean all the arguing and fighting. Want to do something about it? Learn how to mediate and you can help people talk things out instead of fight them out. We will be training new Mediators for next year's team this month. Now is the time to come down to the Mediation Center and pick up an application.
  • The next meeting of the National Honor Society will be this Tuesday at 2:30 in room 130. See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • Attention Student Council members! If you were interested in working the Spring Blood Drive, you need to attend Wednesday's meeting in Room 296 at 2:30 p.m. We will be meeting with our Red Cross representative. If you have any questions or can't make the meeting, you must see Mrs. Pollack or Mrs. Latessa before Wednesday's meeting.
  • Seniors! Permission slips for the annual Senior Field Trip to Dave and Buster's on May 11 are now available in the library. Signed permission slips and $35 cash can be turned in to Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 or Mrs. Gaul in Room 298. Permission slips are due by Friday, April 29th. You must have an emergency medical form on file to attend. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Latessa.
  • The Athletic Booster Club is offering a scholarship to senior athletes whose parents have been active in the Booster Club.  Anyone interested can pick up a scholarship form in the Athletic Office.  The forms must be completed and returned to the Athletic Office before Friday, April 15, 2016.
  • Attention all Seniors interested in pursuing a career in Education.  The Cleveland Area Minority Educators Recruitment Association scholarship applications must be submitted by April 7, 2016.  If you are interested, see your counselor for application information.
