01/26/17 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Thursday, January 26th, 2017!
  • The Lady Panthers Track Team ran yesterday in their Buckeye League Meet at Spire. Many great performances were put in on the track and in the field events. Jordan Hughes Pole Vaulted 8 feet 2nd place, Joann Felix High Jump 5 feet 1 inch for 1st place and 8th in state right now, Caisja Chandler ran 25.24 in the 200 1st place and currently 3rd fastest time in the state right now. Both our 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 Relays of Kristan Ross, Rahshayla Perry, Chalara Sutton, Lamyja Jernigan And Caisja Chandler came in 1st place and are both currently in the top 5 in the state. Other personal best performances were put in by Olivia Stovall, Ariane Shackelford, Courtney Rice, Adaya Lemon and Mikayla Boddie.
Meetings this week:
  • Attention SAVE Environmental Club. We will meet today after school in room 391.  If you have any questions or cannot make it please see Mr. Young or Mrs. Spivey.
  • Attention Key Club Members: We will be having our key club meeting today at 2:45 in room 223. We will be discussing when we will be going to the Cleveland Food Bank and about our upcoming Valentine's Day fundraiser.
  • Baseball will have morning practice tomorrow.
  • Attention all students interested in Big Show Crew.  There will a mandatory crew meeting on Monday, January 30th from 2:30-3:00pm in the choir room.  We will be discussing what is needed for the musical and how you would like to help.  Please make your plans to attend!!!  See Mrs. Ross in the choir room with any questions.
  • There will be an Art Club meeting for all members on Tuesday, January 31st after school in room 199.
  • Attention Student Council members!  Our next meeting will be Wednesday, February 8.  If you are interesting in helping out with our Valentine's Day fundraiser, please see Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 or Mrs. Pollack in Room 263 to sign up during your lunch.
  • Attention Teens : Do you want to volunteer in the community?  Hospice of the Western Reserve is training Teen volunteers to visit patients, help with nursing assistants, or work in clerical and/or data entry.  Information is posted on the main information board or see Ms. Russo on the first floor.
  • Educators Rising is hosting a basketball tournament after school on Friday, Febuary 3rd.  Get your team of 4 players together for this half court competition. Cost is $20 per team and all teams are guaranteed 2 games.  See Mrs. Rudder after school in room 231 to sign your team up!  There will also be a 3-point contest, cost to participate is $1.  The last day to enter a team is Wed. Feb. 1st.
