01/22/20 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Wednesday, January 22nd.
  • Congratulations to Mrs. Walsh-Hilf's top Membean Achievers who went above and beyond their required minutes, including doing Membean over Winter Break! Great job: Cortez Jones, Javeon Smith, Brooke Echols, Karlton Ferguson, Alayna Lanier, Riyan McAbrew, Zinniah Robinson, Jason Bonner, D.J. Brantley, Quoron Robinson, Katyia Wade. Keep up the good work building vocabulary to help raise your score on the AIR test and build reading comprehension.
  • Please congratulate our own Varsity Choir for completing their first competition this past weekend on Saturday Januray 18th at Marysville High School. Although the competition was intense, our choir walked away with a total of four awards with two of the awards going to individual students. Marquis Underwood won an award for best performer within Euclid's Choir and Kaleb Johnson won an award for "Commanding Stage Presence" out of all 19 choirs. As a whole, our Varsity choir won an award for "Best Show Concept" as well as an award for "Most Memorable Show." Varsity Choir's next competition will be on Saturday, February 1st at Walsh-Jesuit where we plan to perform not only a better show but also take home more trophies. Please come out and support our VC members as they bring on the wrath of the apocalypse with their edgy dance breaks and domineering vocals. Congratulations VC. We are very proud of you. See you at practice.
  • Last Thursday evening the Boys Indoor Track team competed at Spire in Geneva. First place finishes were turned in by: Armond Scott in the 200 meters and John Brown in the shot put and weight throw. A 3rd place was earned by the 4 by 200 team of Dennis Ivey, Damarte Ward, Armond Scott and Javier Harper. Kavon Jones was 4th in the 60 meter hurdles and Glen Hamblin was 3rd in the weight throw. Good job.
  • Congratulations to the Varsity swim team for their accomplishments Friday night in a Tri-meet at Shaker Heights with Brunswick. Top scoring swimmers for the team were Na'Im Hobson with 12 points, Charlie Atwell with 5 points and Cadance Burr with 3 points. All swimmers shaved time off their personal records. Congratulations Swimmers.

  • Starting in 2020, students just like you will have a unique opportunity to make connections with your local community and work to make meaningful change by joining the Euclid Youth Council. Be a leader today in your community. Show the City of Euclid that youth are valued members of society. This is a new organization, which means you will be at ground zero for a chance to make a difference. Please come and take your seat at the table. The first meeting will be January 29th at 2:30 PM.
