02/24/20 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Monday, February 24th.
  • The L.E.A.D. Scholars would like to hank everyone who got involved during our Fit in February Initiative. We'd also like to thank those students and teachers that participated in the HBCU Door Decorating Contest. Judging will begin today and the winners will be announced Friday. We apologize for the delay. In honor of HBCUs and in preparation for our Black History Program this Friday, we'd like to share an HBCU fact with you each day. Today's fact is about Central Statue University, one of the only 2 HBCUs located in Ohio. Central State originally began as a department within Wilberforce University, an HBCU founded in 1856. The initial focus was on vocational and teacher education. It branched off and was officially named in 1965. Located in Wilberforce Ohio, Central State University houses undergraduate majors, from business, to education, to engineering, and the social sciences. Central State University believes in the education and success of African-American students and that is engrained into its rich history. With Wilberforce University right across the street, the campus life and educational atmosphere is grand. To learn more about Central State University, visit centralstate.edu.
