Morning Announcements - March 27, 2023

Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Engaged. Today is Monday, March 27, 2023 and these are your morning announcements.

THE R-FACTOR - What a great team of people that make up Euclid High School. We faced some tremendous adversity this morning already and have used the R-Factor to get through it. Thanks to our Head Custodian Mr. Hamilton and his leadership for getting the 230 and 240 Pods power back on so we could begin instruction on time. Mrs. Delong’s class was able to get engaged with their sign and cosign lesson refresher. Mrs. Vlach, Mr. Fortlege and Mrs. Girbino’s classes were greeted by a visitor this morning, but did not allow the distraction to get in the way of their learning. You are in control of how you respond to the events that occur throughout your day. You can choose to respond with discipline, or on default. You know that responding with discipline is the best way to get to positive outcomes for you and those around you.
We need to increase our attendance in class. I want to see the fourth quarter have the highest grades, and best attendance across the board. Do what it takes for you to get your best grade in class every class. That starts with being present in class.

The final results from the last Ohio Math League contest are in. Congratulations to William Jones for winning this contest and finishing in first place for the year. Malikah Abdul-Wali was second in this contest. Taylor Barwick was third. Toni Kincaid was fourth. Easton Harris was fifth. Our team defeated teams from Brecksville, Orange, Hawken, and NDCL. Thank you to all the participants this year. The next contest will be in October. All are invited to participate.
