10/14/15 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Wednesday, October 14th.
  • Congratulations to the 2015 Homecoming Court! Winners were announced at Friday's game, as the Panther football team won, 21-10 over Elyria. Samuel Jordan and Lamyja "Micey" Jernigan won the title of Prince and Princess. Aaron Berry and Aliyah Bachelor were crowned Euclid's 2015 Homecoming King and Queen. Thank you to the students, faculty, and staff for making this year's Homecoming weekend memorable and fun!
  • Hearing screenings will take place tomorrow, Thursday, October 15th in the auditorium for all 9th grade students and for a select group of 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. Teachers, check your mailboxes for more information and please bring your students to the auditorium at the designated time. Thank you.
  • The first meeting of the National Honor Society will take place tomorrow, Thursday, October 15th at 2:30 in room 130.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • Today's Student Council meeting is canceled. We will meet again on Wednesday, October 21.
  • Culture Club will meet briefly today in Room 209 at 2:35pm.
  • Attention Key Club Members: Please make sure to come to our meeting tomorrow, Thursday October 15th at 2:40 in room 121. We need to talk about the hayride, the cat sanctuary, and fall rally. Please try to remember to bring your dues if you haven't paid yet. See you then!
  • All Fall Sports Varsity players please stop by the Athletic Office to pick up your invitation to the Hall of Fame Assembly.  The Assembly is tomorrow during 3rd period. You will need the invitation as your pass to attend.
  • College representatives visiting Euclid High School next week include:  Monday, October 19th, John Carroll University - Tuesday, October 20th Ashland University and the University of Toledo – and Wednesday, October 21st, the University of Rochester and Baldwin Wallace University.  If you would like to attend please use your Naviance account.  Remember the deadline is 2 days prior to  the visit.
  • Women at Work "Have you ever thought about a career in the construction trades?" Learn about all the great career opportunities available to women in the construction trades from tradeswomen in these jobs. Information if provided by the Cleveland Building and Construction Trades Council Tradeswomen Committee and their partners.  Meet reps from several building trades: Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Iron Workers, Pipefitters, Bricklayers and More!  Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Plumbers Local 55, 980 Kenote Circle, Brooklyn Hts at 6:00pm-7:30pm.
