10/5/15 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Monday, October 5th. 
  • Astronomy students attending The Martian movie field trip today should report to door #7, down the hall from the planetarium, immediately at the end of 4th period. We will load the buses and leave at 11:15, so do not be late. 
  • It's not to late to join the Academic Challenge Team. The Academic Challenge Team will be meeting this Tuesday Oct 6th at 2:30 in Mrs. McGarry's Room 337. All are welcome.
  • Attention Stand Up Committee Members: Remember to bring in your white t-shirt so we can tie dye them Wednesday October 7th after IE. If you have any Questions Please see Mrs. Korpowski or Ms. Russo.
  • Auditions for fall play will take place after school today through Wednesday. Please come prepared with two contrasting monologues and be ready to read from the script. Sign up sheets for time slots are available outside of the little theater. 
  • This Thursday October 8th the Lady Panther Volleyball team will host Shaker Heights for the DIG PINK MATCH. Money raised at this event will be donated to the Sideout Foundation to help with the fight against breast cancer. Help support the cause by attending the game, purchasing a t-shirt for $10 or $1 raffle tickets in the athletic office. 
  • The PSAT will be given here at Euclid High School on Wednesday, October 14th starting at 7:30am. All Juniors interested in taking the test must register with Mrs. Payne in the Guidance Dept. The cost for the PSAT is $20.00. Registrations will be accepted before school, during 4th period, 6th period and after school 2:00pm - 3:00pm now through October 9th. 
  • Attention Juniors & Seniors: Next week there are several college visits you may be interested in: Urbana and Ohio Dominican University will be here on Wednesday, October 14. Wright State and Ohio University will be here on Thursday, October 15. Please use your Naviance account to register and refer to the college calendar posted in your English class for future October visits. 
  • Seniors, as always please make sure that you visit Mrs.McCourt in the college now office to get college application fee waivers BEFORE you request your transcripts on Naviance.  Not doing so can result in delays in receiving decisions from your selected colleges and universities due to incomplete applications.
