02/11/16 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Thursday, February 11th.
  • The stand up meeting today has been cancelled. It will be rescheduled to Tuesday January 23rd. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Korpowski.
  • Attention Juniors: the next meeting for juniors is Tuesday, February 16, 2016 @ 2:30 in room 201. We will preparing items for our fundraiser. All juniors are welcome.
  • Young men of Euclid: Are you living the life you want? Can you improve yourself and your community? The Euclid Public Library is hosting a series of conversations starting on February 18th that deal with issues of being a young man in Euclid and in America. Please join us after school on February 18th at 3pm in the library as former EHS teacher Morris Ervin talks with you about issues facing you and ways to improve your life and empower yourself. There is no cost to you and you are guaranteed to become inspired and find ways in which you can become the man you always wanted to be.
  • Seniors, have you completed your FAFSA yet?  If not, come to the FAFSA workshop on Thursday, February 11th.  It will be from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm in the Panther Achievement Den.  Please see College Now for more information.
  • Hey students!  Remember to pre-order your yearbook ASAP! Bring 50 dollars cash, check or money order to Mrs. Gaul in room 298 or Mrs. Valtman in 292 to secure your copy.  Once they are sold out there will be no more available!
  • Attention all students 16yrs and older.  If you are interested in working this summer, the Cleveland Indians are now hiring.  They have many positions to fill for various jobs.  For more information see Miss Smith, Guidance Counselor, in the A-J unit office.
  • The Euclid Boy's track team competed at the Spire Institute Complex on Jan 27, 2015. These young men performed well, scoring in 10 of 13 events ... The 149 point, first place finish was a Team effort. Top performances were turned in by Ron Lee - 1st place 4x400 ran , De'Quan Williams, Brian Tillman, and Tyrese Jones- 3:29 second fast time in the state and national elite recognized. Brian Tillman 1st place in 60m 7.18 and 200m 22.9 (national elite recognized). Tyrese jones 1st place 400m 52sec. Adam white 1st place 60m Hurdles 7.03. 2nd place finishes were turned in by De'Quan Williams in the Long Jump, Isiah Claytor High Jump, Chis cooper High Jump, Spencer Roberts in the Shot Put, Calel Christian in the 60m and 200m, Ron Lee in the 400, the 4x800 run by Melvin Lyon, Kameron Shelton, De'Quan Williams, Kishuan Carroll and a 3rd place finish by Cornel Gibson in the Shot Put.
  • The Euclid Boy's track team traveled this past Sunday to Youngstown to make a statement to the state and "they did just that." Only taking our relays to compete against the state's best and solidify top times in the state. Top performance turned in were - 1st place 4x400 run by Darien Sanders. De'Quan Williams, Brian Tillman, and Tyrese Jones- 3:27 running the second fastest time in the state and being recognized as national elite. A 3rd place was earned by the 4x200 team of Ron Lee, Des White, Brian Tilman, Calel Christian at 1:33 running the fifth fastest time in the state and being recognized as national elite. Congratulations on these fine performances.
