02/17/16 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where students are standing up together and taking control of their future!  Today is Wednesday, February 17th.  
  • IE today is for 3rd period.
  • There will be a Girls Track Meeting today at 2:30 in room 121.  You must be at the meeting if you are running outdoors.
  • There will be a meeting tomorrow for anyone interested in trying out for the Baseball team this year.  The meeting is in room 242.  The meeting will start at 2:35 right after IE.  If you do not attend the meeting or see Coach LeRoy you will not be able to try out for baseball this year.
  • Attention Key Club Members: Please plan on attending the Key Club meeting this Thursday February 18th at 2:45 in room 121. We will be taking nominations for those of you who want to run for office, and we will also have special guests Hasani Wheat, Kiwanis Advisor to Circle K at Case Western Reserve University & Thomas Franco, President of the Circle K at Case Western Reserve University speak to the group. See you Thursday!
  • Attention SAVE Environmental Club! The SAVE Club will have a winter hike Thursday, February 18. We will meet in the planetarium immediately after school. Please come dressed for the weather. There is still time to pick up a permission slip from Mr. Young or Mrs. Spivey if you would like to come.
  • Young men of Euclid: Are you living the life you want?  Can you improve yourself and your community?  The Euclid Public Library is hosting a series of conversations that deal with issues of being a young man in Euclid and in America.  Please join us for the first of these after school tomorrow at 3pm in the Euclid Library as former EHS teacher Morris Ervin talks with you about issues facing you and ways to improve your life and empower yourself.  There is no cost to you and you are guaranteed to become inspired and find ways in which you can become the man you always wanted to be.
  • Attention students: We will be having a GSA meeting on Friday February 19 th at 2 pm in Room 209 All are welcome! In addition the community YMCA located on Babbitt Road has begun a GSA in the evening beginning at 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm. This first meeting in the community begins on Thursday February 18th. See Ms. Russo in Room 209 if you have any questions !
  • Hey students!  Remember to pre-order your yearbook ASAP! Bring 50 dollars cash, check or money order to Mrs. Gaul in room 298 or Mrs. Valtman in 292 to secure your copy.  Once they are sold out there will be no more available!
  • Attention Seniors! Senior shirt order forms are available in all senior English classes and in the library today through Friday, February 26. Please bring completed form and cash with you to Mrs. Latessa in Room 296 to purchase your shirt. The shirt design is available in the Senior Class Cabinet case on the 1st floor and with Mrs. Latessa in Room 296. Don't wait-order yours today!
  • On Saturday, February 13, 2016, Euclid High School Instrumental Music students competed at the Ohio Music Educators Association Solo & Ensemble Contest held at Mayfield School. Congratulations to Nigel Nevels (trumpet solo) and Luke Johnson (piano solo) on receiving the second highest rating of excellent in Class A, which is the highest level of difficulty.
