10/04/17 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Wednesday, October 4th
  • Today’s class SHOUT Outs! are from Ms. Ivanc to her 1st Period class for being Hard working students who have completed great work on their comic strips and are well mannered, kind people.  And also from Ms. Henry to her 3rd period class.  Congratulations to Ms. Henry's 3rd period who is leading the way in the 40 Book Challenge. Her 3rd Period has read 52 books! Keep up the great work!
  • Students, Monday, October 16th, you will be REQUIRED to wear your ID daily.  If you have lost or destroyed your ID, you are responsible to go to security and purchase a new ID before Monday, October 16th.  Wearing your ID allows everyone to know YOU BELONG here.  If there is a safety concern or you are injured, we need to be able to QUICKLY identify you. This is the purpose of your ID.  If you do not wear your ID beginning Monday, October 16th, you will ONLY be administered 3 temp IDs for the ENTIRE 2nd quarter.  Once all 3 temp IDs are used, you will be issued a disciplinary consequence.  Teachers, please be sure to check IDs everyday, during 1st period.
  • Starting today, library passes will be available to be picked up before and after school only. This will be on a first come first served basis. You will need to have your ID in order to receive a library pass and temp id's will not be accepted. The library will be available during 4th and 6th period. No student will be able to leave the cafeteria without a library pass.
  • Attention Student Council members!  Our next meeting is today at 2:20pm in Room 296.  We will be working on planning our fall Blood Drive and winter fundraisers!  Any questions?  See Mrs. Latessa or Mrs. Pollack.
  • There will be a senior class cabinet meeting today at 2:20pm in Room 296. See Mrs. Latessa if you have questions!
  • Attention all students: CRAVE, Euclid High's student led Christian Club would like to invite you to join us today for a time of fellowship, prayer and bible study. We meet every Wednesday after 7th period in room 396. All are welcome and we hope you can join us.
  • Culture Club will be hosting a speaker at Euclid Library today at 3 pm.  Meet in Room 147 at 2:25pm or at the library in the Lake room.  Cleveland Young Lives Program will present on Teen resources in the community.
  • EHS Publications has a meeting tomorrow after school in room 298. If you are interested in newspaper or yearbook, this club is for you! Come join us TOMORROW in 298 after school.
  • SAVE Environmental Club will meet on Thursday October 5th in room 391.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Young or Ms. Spivey.
  • The band and orchestra will host the 26th Annual Tag Day to raise support for the Music Department this Saturday, Oct. 7.  Band and Orchestra members should report to the Choir Room 8:30am Saturday Morning. The Drumline will lead a Peace March this Sunday, Oct. 8 sponsored by the City of Euclid.  The Peace March will start at City Hall at 4pm and end at Shore Cultural Center.  All are invited to attend!
  • Attention seniors! New this year: Friendship ads in the yearbook! Get some friends together to personalize a section of this year's book with pictures and messages to the class of 2018. Order forms are available with your senior English teacher and will also be in the Media Center. Money and pictures are due soon! See Mrs. Gaul in room 298 with any questions.
