10/10/17 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Tuesday, October 10th.
  • Today’s class SHOUT Outs! are from Mrs. Pesch to her 2nd period class.  Thank you class for having a lively discussion about gravity and for your great behavior on Monday!  It was so fun!  Peace, Love and Science!  From Mrs. Kachler to her 2nd Period for valid participation and working diligently from bell to bell.  And from Mrs. Simmons to her 7th Period class for having 100% homework completion. Your dedication to your work and to supporting each other is admirable.
  • Students, Monday, October 16th, you will be REQUIRED to wear your ID daily.  If you have lost or destroyed your ID, you are responsible to go to security and purchase a new ID before Monday, October 16th.  Wearing your ID allows everyone to know YOU BELONG here.  If there is a safety concern or you are injured, we need to be able to QUICKLY identify you. This is the purpose of your ID.  If you do not wear your ID beginning Monday, October 16th, you will ONLY be administered 3 temp IDs for the ENTIRE 2nd quarter.  Once all 3 temp IDs are used, you will be issued a disciplinary consequence.  Teachers, please be sure to check IDs everyday, during 1st period.
  • It is ON TIME OCTOBER! The goal this month is to reduce the number of students arriving late to class.  For every period all students arrive on time, the teacher will enter the class into a drawing.  At the end of each of the next 4 weeks, one winning class will be drawn and that class will win a reward which involves delicious food! So don't be tardy to the party - get to class on time!
  • Attention EHS Publications club, the meeting for today has been cancelled.
  • Attention Student Council members! There will be a mandatory meeting today at 2:20 p.m. in Room 296 for any members planning on helping out with the Blood Drive.  If you cannot attend the meeting, please see Mrs. Pollack or Mrs. Latessa BEFORE the meeting.
  • The Stand Up and lead meeting is today in Room 147 starting at 2:30 pm.
  • The African-American Achievement Girls Group will host its first meeting on Wednesday, October 11th in the P.A.D. from 2:30-4. Here, we will discuss the goals of the group and provide information regarding activities planned throughout the school year. Students who were recommended by teachers should’ve received an invitation to attend from their homeroom teachers today. If you didn’t receive a notice but are interested in participating, please consider attending the meeting next Wednesday. If you have or need an application or just want more information, please stop by and see Mrs. Davis in 259 or Dr. Mines in 371. We look forward to seeing you next Wednesday.
