09/27/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Twin’s Day Thursday, September 27h. 
  • Congratulations to Mrs. Walsh-Hilf's High Membean Achievers this past week: Lauren Johnson, Sadye Penny, and Destini Tucker! Keep up the great work!
  • Now for your Homecoming Update!  
    • Today is the last day to vote for Homecoming Court!  Students can access the voting link on the homepage, when logging into Chromebooks, or through the URL ehs2017.electionrunner.com.  Students can also vote from their phones!  Student voter ID numbers are the same as the Infinite Campus user ID numbers.  The election key is euclid2018 (all lowercase).  Remember you can only vote once! The winners of our 2018 Homecoming Court will be announced at halftime of Friday night's football game against Strongsville.
    • Spirit Week is underway!  Congratulations to Wednesday's Mismatch Spirit Week winners: Daevon Sharpley, Doug Habian, Rahjanae Johnson, and Jan Robinson. Please stop in Room 296 after announcements to pick up your prize! Thank you to the following teachers for showing off their mismatch: Mrs. Pesch, Ms. Amato, Dr. Mines, Mrs. Chinchar, Mrs. Norton, Mr. Fortlage, Mrs. Korpowski, Ms. Costello, and Mrs. Gaul.
    • Friday is Blue and Gold Day-show your school spirit as the EHS football team takes on Strongsville for our Homecoming game!  Also, if you think you've got the best outfit during Spirit Week, come by room 298 to have your picture taken for yearbook and newspaper.  That's right!  Come to room to 298 with your best spirit week outfits to be featured in the yearbook and newspaper!  Teachers, admin and staff too!  Show your Panther Pride!
    • Today and Thursday are the LAST days to purchase your Homecoming tickets! Make sure you have a signed and completed contract and your ID before purchasing tickets. Tickets can be purchased from the treasurer during LUNCH periods and after school. Don't miss out!
  • Congratulations to the 8th grade Blue volleyball team for their big conference win over Garfield Heights High School on Tuesday.
  • Just a reminder, Publishing Club will meet today at 2:20 in Room 298. If you are interested in working on the yearbook or newspaper, please stop by. New members are welcome! See you in 298 at 2:20.
  • Chess Club is back. We'll play in room 393 after school today.  Be nice to everybody always.
  • Hi Euclid yogis! Remember to bring your yoga mat this Friday! Let’s get stronger, feel better, and find that balance! See you this Friday behind girl’s gym! If you have not join our yoga club, sign up with Chinese teacher, Ms. Wang, at room 226. Namaste!
  • Today is the informational meeting with Coach Zeffer for all boys interested in playing baseball.  The meeting is in room 293 at 2:25 PM.
  • The National Honor Society will have a meeting on Tuesday October 2 at 2:20 in room 342. See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • The marching band will hold a mandatory meeting for all students and parents Wed. Oct. 3 at 7pm in the band room. We will discuss our overnight trip to Central State University near Dayton Ohio to perform in their homecoming parade. We will depart from the Brunswick game Friday Oct. 12 and return Sat. Oct. 13. Total cost for the tip is $40 and is due on Oct. 3.
  • Attention 8th graders interested in trying out for the Middle School Swim team: There will be a signup sheet outside of Mrs. Kaiser's room, Room 190. You will need a physical before tryouts on November 1st and 2nd.
