09/21/18 Announcements

• Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Friday, September 21st.
• Attention Juniors, are you interested in qualifying to become a National Merit Scholar.  If so, please see Mrs. Jones in the curriculum office to sign up for the PSAT.  The PSAT is October 10, 2018.  Sign-up runs now through next Wednesday, September 26th.  Please come during your lunch period only.
• Homecoming Spirit Week kicks off on Monday, September 24! We are taking it back a few decades to celebrate 90's Day on Monday. On Tuesday, it's time to rock your Tie Die! Mix it up on Wednesday for Mismatch Day! Find your BFF and get twinning for Twin Day. Friday is Blue and Gold Day-show your school spirit as the EHS football team takes on Strongsville for our Homecoming game!
• A reminder to Euclid Yoga members that we will meet after school today at 2:30, behind the girl's gym - the gym across from the clinic. If you are not sure, come to the Chinese classroom, room 226. Namaste!
• News from Chinese Club! Next Monday, Sept. 24, Members of Chinese Club will go see the movie "Crazy Rich Asians." Tickets are free for Chinese Club members. So come join the Club and get a free ticket! We will meet at Regal Richmond Town Square Stadium 20 at 3:45pm, again, It's the theater at Richmond Town Square, at 3:45pm. Come to Room 226 to sign up!
• Girls Basketball Open Gym will be Wednesday, September 26th at the high school. Open gym will start at 6:30 and go until 8:00pm. 9th - 12th girls welcome to attend open gym.
• There will be a meeting for 8th and 9th grade girls interested in playing Girls Basketball this year. The meeting is Wednesday, September 26th at 2:20 in West Gym.
• Attention all boys interested in playing baseball this spring.  There will be an informational meeting with Coach Zeffer on Thursday, September 27 in room 293 at 2:25 PM.
• Attention all junior and senior scholars!  EHS is starting a chapter under the National Society of High School Scholars.  There will be an informational meeting directly after school on Monday, Sept. 24th at 2:20pm in Room 321. For more information, please see Artrez Alexander or Ms. Collins in room 321.
• Homecoming Dance tickets will go on sale beginning Friday, September 21 and run through Thursday, September 27.  Tickets are $20 per person and can only be purchased from the treasurer in the main office.  Tickets can be purchased during lunch periods or after school. Those interested in purchasing tickets during lunch MUST have a pass from the cafeteria or auditorium.  Please have your I.D. and completed contract with you to purchase your ticket.
• The Marching band will travel to Vermillion Ohio this Sunday Sept. 23 to perform in the Woollybear Parade! Report time is 9:15am.  Also, the band will perform the 1812 Overture at the Homecoming game Friday, September 28th with cannon shots and fireworks! Don't miss it!
• Attention all EHS students: Have you considered attending or visiting a Historically Black College or University? Then you should consider attending the HBCU Tour in spring 2019. We will tour Howard University, Hampton University, and Morgan State University and visit some of the Washington D.C. memorials and museums. If you are interested or want more information, stop by room 371 and see Dr. Mines or listen for info during the A section of your lunch period.
