12/14/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Friday, December 14th.
  • Attention students and faculty members, today is the last day to submit your response about what you are grateful for. The questionnaire is available on euclidschools.org under EHS News. Your response will appear on the “Gratitude Board” which will be in the main office hallway.
  • It's time to get in the SPIRIT! Student Council is sponsoring a Holiday Spirit Week, beginning Monday, December 17. Monday the 17th is Holiday Hat Day. Tuesday the 18th is Pajama Pants Day. Wednesday the 19th is Winter Plaid Shirt Day. We will end our week on Thursday the 20th with Ugly Holiday Sweater Day.
  • The Men's swim team earned their first victory of the season Wednesday night, demonstrating some versatility while topping Villa Angela St. Joseph by a score of 22-7.  Junior Javier Harper lead the way for the Panthers, earning a first place in both of the sprint freestyle events while posting a state tournament qualifying time in the 50 Freestyle.  Sophomores Na'im Hobson and Shawn Mason demonstrated their versatility with a 1-2 finish in the Men's 100 Fly.  Hobson also picked up the victory in the 100 Backstroke.  The women's swim team fell by a score of 23-7. Sophomore Christina Saterides lead the way with a second place finish in the 100 Butterfly and a state tournament qualifying time in the 50 Freestyle.  Congratulations to Sophomore Ronasia Spates, who broke the minute barrier in the 50 Freestyle in the first meet of her career.
  • Attention all Staff Members who ordered citrus from the Band & Orchestra Fundraiser. You can pick up your orders in the band room today before 2pm. Thanks for your support!
  • Seniors! Order your senior quotes and your yearbooks before break to get the deepest discount! See Ms. Gaul in room 298 for ordering information.
  • Attention Students! The Junior/Senior Ambassadors are sponsoring a blanket drive for donation to area shelters. Bring (new only) blankets to Ms Russo in Room 147.  The students/homeroom that collects the most will have a donut breakfast on December 20th.
  • Hello Future Educators! We will have the next meeting of Educator's Rising on Tuesday, December 18 at 2:15. We will meet until 3pm in room 129A.
  • Attention Juniors and Seniors:  There will be a class meeting to discuss the updated graduation requirements and to answer any questions that you may have on Wednesday, December 19th during your lunch period in the Auditorium.  Please be prompt, as we will only use the first part of your lunch.  Sophomores you will report to the Little Theatre on December 19th.
  • Attention all girls interested in playing softball this spring, please come to the athletics office to sign up.
  • Saturday, December 15th the Lady Panther Basketball team and the cheerleaders are teaming up to help raise money for Kids with Cancer.  You can stop in the athletic office to make a $1.00 donation.  Please help us help others.
  • Attention Seniors!  Senior shirt order forms are now available in Senior English classes!  Shirts are on sale now through Tuesday, December 18.  Forms and money must be turned in to Mrs. Latessa in Room 296.
  • Attention Sophomores: The Lake Shore Compact is pleased to announce that we have nearly 400 applications for our CTE programs. Do not forget to apply at www.LakeShoreCompact.org by December 21, 2018. You may apply after this deadline, but applying by this “priority status” deadline will add bonus points to your score and guarantee you an interview in mid-January. Remember, you can only apply for two programs (your first choice gets you 5 additional points on our scoring system). If you have any questions, see your counselor or stop by the CTE office in room 324.
