• Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Monday, October 7th. 
• Congratulations to Mrs. Walsh-Hilf's top Membean Achievers who went above and beyond by completing over 45 minutes this past week. Quincy Jimson, Jayah McKinney, Jaylen Lamar, Mariah Al-Almin, Jayvon Ash, Kayla Eaton, Andre Jackson, Samarion Johnson, Riyan McAbrew, Deshaun Stewart, Armony Weaver, Nandi Grant, Kamilah Murray. Keep up the growth mindset as you continue to grow your vocabulary!
• An important reminder to all Marching Band Members: Please make sure you are on time to the cafeteria every day and then on time to the band room following lunch. All band members must be in the band room by 12:53pm. You are not permitted to stop at your locker.
• There will be a Student Council meeting on Tuesday, October 8 at 2:20 p.m. in Room 296. We will be signing up for all of our upcoming events and finishing our advertising for Spirit Week! See you there!
• There will be 8th grade boys basketball open gym Tuesday, October 8th in the East Gym from 2:25 to 4:00. If you have any questions please see Coach James in Room 309.
• Attention Senior Class cabinet members! Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 9 at 2:20 p.m. in Room 296. See you there!
• Attention Juniors and Seniors! Do you have what it takes to be royalty? The applications for Homecoming Court are now available in Room 296. Please see Mrs. Latessa if you are interested in participating in this year's Homecoming Court festivities! Applications must be completed and returned to Mrs. Latessa by Tuesday, October 8 at 2:15 p.m.
• Homecoming contracts are now available in the unit offices and the library. Contracts must be signed by your grade level dean before purchasing a ticket. Tickets are $20 per person and will go on sale beginning Monday, October 14th.
• It's that time of year again! This Thanksgiving, let’s take some time to give back and make a difference in the Euclid Community. The L.E.A.D. Scholars (and I H.E.A.R.T. Youth Outreach Initiatives) are hosting our 3rd Annual Turkey Day Food Drive; we were able to help 41 Euclid families have a great Thanksgiving last year... this year we're aiming for 50! Beginning today, Monday, October 7, 2019, students and teachers are asked to bring items into their homeroom classes. Homeroom teachers you received a list in your mailboxes. Please take some time to review the items with your students. Desired items include: • Canned green beans • Canned corn • Canned yams • Canned cranberry sauce • Creamed Soups (mushroom, chicken, or celery) • Boxed stuffing mix • Instant Potatoes (boxes or packages) • Macaroni & Cheese • Gravy mix (jar or packaged) • Turkey or Chicken • Cake mix • Icing PLEASE STICK TO THE REQUESTED ITEMS and check the expiration dates. While participation has been great the last two years, there were a lot of items that could not be shared with families in the community. Remember, this is a competition and the homeroom with the most donations will be awarded a Chick-fil-a breakfast. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Davis (317) or Dr. Mines (371). Let’s see how many boxes we can donate from EHS and the L.E.A.D. Scholars!
